Walk into nature, ride your bike, or overlook the bay. Great to get back to basics...take your own water, rustic.

“Beauty all around”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

Great place to walk, cycle, bird watch, kayak and fish. Free parking, plus free guided walks and talks starting at the education center. In the spring I attended a great discussion on the sand hill cranes.

“Quiet Paradise”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

I frequently walk the trails looking for photographic opportunities of scenery and wildlife. Incredibly nice place. Almost don't want to review this so it doesn't become crowded.

“Emerson Point is a special place that I'm lucky enough to WALK to!”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

I am a longtime resident of Palmetto FL. I consider myself most fortunate to be able to walk to Emerson Point from my residence at least twice a week. Whether you walk your dog, kayak, bird watch or enjoy hiking along both a river and pristine mangrove lined bay, this might be the place for you. While early morning or just prior to dusk is probably best, you can really spot ospreys, hawks, and a wide array of herons and egrets almost any time.

Check it out!

“Plenty of good walks available”
Reviewed 11 November 2013

A very well maintained park. Free parking. Excellent walks. Great views. Also appears to be good for cycling and fishing. We will definitely be going back.
