Enjoyed our visit to ZooWorld. Lots of animals, some we have never seen before. All of the staff were extremely friendly and knowledgable. Especially enjoyed the Lemur Encounter. For $10pp, we got to play with 3 baby lemurs. It was so much fun with them jumping all over us. We smile every time we remember it. We missed most of the wolf show but got to pat and have our pictures with these amazing animals. Overall, the zoo was a nice way to spend a couple of hours. Don't forget to pat Lawrence.

“HORRIBLE!!!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 November 2013

First of all they advertise themselves on their website that they are a non-profit organization yet you have to pay to go in and see. The cages for the animals are so small the animals only have room to sleep and pace around. The ducks have free range but the pond they are suppose to swim in looks disgusting. The animals look under feed and honestly look crazy just pacing around the cage staring at you. I will never go to this place again!!!

“A smaller zoo with big attention to its visitors and residents.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 November 2013

A wonderful staff dedicated to the animals, and to teaching visitors about them make this a great place to visit. We learned so much, and enjoyed taking our time in the compact park that didn't wear us out. There was even a place for the children to play and climb and go down slides. The petting zoo is fun and there is plenty of hand sanitizer around to clean up with afterwards. I am sure the people at this non profit organization would like to have bigger enclosures for the animals, but what they do have is well taken care of and a vet comes in every day to check on many of the inhabitants. The fee we paid to get into the exhibit with the Lemurs was the best ten bucks I ever spent.

“One of the best zoos we have visited!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 November 2013

Zoo World is wonderful. It's not large, but the experience is personal!!! We have been several times, and enjoy it every time. The thing that makes it great is that the enclosures are spacious and nice, but the animals are SO close to you! We had 3 Lions maybe 3 feet from us, playing with a keeper as she used bamboo shoots like giant cat toys! There is one grumpy white tiger there that always puts on a show with his hissing and roaring! We fed friendly goats, a pony and a donkey...and the young camel was a riot with his wails for attention, because he loves to be petted. It's just unlike any zoo I have visited. I am an animal lover, so the fact that the keepers so obviously love the animals is so wonderful to me; you know they are all well cared for. Highly recommend this place!!!

“Visit to support this Zoo”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 October 2013

Yes the beach is an unlikely place for a zoo. As a zoo goes, it is just average. It is clean and well kept with a collection of animals that is larger than one would expect for the location. The kids like it and always have a good time. It is a good place to get out of the sun and unwind for a few hours. You should go and support the zoo and it's animals.
