“Not bad but not great!”
Reviewed 15 August 2014

We just stayed 6 nights at The reef at seahaven beach. Check-in went smooth. They were very nice...The beach was great! Great location!...Sharkey's (next door) was great. Plenty of parking (some parking across the street). The hotel room was nice and big with a patio. We had a full refrigerator and microwave. It was a spacious kitchen area with a table and chairs. The air conditioner did leak fluids on the balcony...I would recommend this hotel but there are a few things you need to bring such as toilet paper and blankets for bed. The housekeeping staff in really bad. When they clean your room, they don't replenish toilet paper and towels. So bring the essentials. Another issue is the dirtiness of the outside of the hotel. Mostly just trash and cigarettes. The pool is on the street side not on the beachside. Overall, it was not bad.

This is no exotic, well done, fancy room. The staff was nice. The room was clean. This was the most basic room I have ever stayed, no fridge or microwave. No worries tho, we were there for one thing and one thing only....the beach. Our room was on the ground floor right by the walk way to the beach. PERFECT! I would stay here again.

Room Tip: Take your own chairs. The beach chairs with umbrellas are and extra $40 a day.

Let's start this out to say when we got our room and went to it; it was not cleaned. The best were still unmade from the previous ppl that were in there. So they gave us another room. You had to wait for the elevator for more than 5 min to get on it. if it was not for The luggage we Had We Would Have Taken The stairs . We had no house keeping the whole time we were there. We had to beg for clean towels. 5 days. Our sheets were dirty on arrival. Had to change them and didn't have blankets on the bed. The carpets in the room were nasty; like when you walk across your feet would turn black. The balcony door you had to slam shut and force open. Parking was shabby. You had to block a half block away if the parking lot was full. And when we did get to park; we parked in front of the hotel and one of the house keepers mops fell off the top floor and landed on my vehicle. Didn't hurt much just put a big dent in my hood. Will not stay there again.

We practically had to beg them to clean our room and never got any fresh towels. Trash started piling up. The bed didntcome with blankets. The lobby never answered the phone when we called. I went to the lobby for more shampoo and soap and they gave me lotion. It seemed like the employees didnt give a damn about good customer service. Wont be staying there again.

This hotel is by no means an AWESOME hotel but the view and access to the beach makes up for a great room. The room was less than basic, dingy bathroom with a tub surround that looked like it was installed by my 6 year old. Our doors (BOTH) looked as if it had once been rammed by the ATF and was difficult to close and lock. The furniture is terribly outdated and there are NO amenities. There is one dim light in the room, not even worth turning it on. However, it was a surprisingly quiet stay and the view from the balcony was gorgeous. We stayed for one night, more than that & I probably looked for other options.
The staff is not overly friendly, especially the male at the front desk (not sure what his problem was) but not overtly rude. Be prepared to hunt for a parking spot; although parking is free the lot is tiny and space is limited. Luckily though, most everything is within walking distance,

Room Tip: All rooms have a beach view so you cannot go wrong in that aspect but, some rooms have a traditional...

Our room flooded and had to change rooms during our stay. The parking is terrible and nearby places parked in our places. The people at the desk were no help and not very nice. I would never stay here again.
