We spent 3 nights in a pretty small room with a TV, 2 double beds, a love seat, small fridge and small microwave. Coffee maker was on top of the microwave but no free outlet there so had to take it to the bathroom to make coffee.
Room was clean and employees were very cordial and helpful. Lots of noisy kids but that's basically what this place is for. The restaurant across the street had an awesome breakfast for very reasonable price. We had a beautiful view of the beach. Air conditioner went out our last night around 10. Maintenance men were there within 10 minutes of our call and replaced the air conditioner within 10 minutes. Great service.

Room Tip: Ask for a third floor beachfront room, away from the pool. Quite noisy near the pool.

Last minute trip with my kids, really freindly staff, even whe they were busy at the time of check in; room was clean, the housekeepers really nice ladies; lot of things to do around the property; walking distance to CVS.

The only downsize, the smokers; I emailed the property to set up smoking locations through out the property; was not nice to pay for a balcony that you have to share, and not able to use it cause there was smokers in there... not their fault... but should be something the hotel can control...

Besides that; was really really fun .. WILL definetely go back!

Room Tip: if you get a room with a "partial view" don't bother if you are not an smoker; you will not use it cause most likely will get smoker neighbors...

Enjoyed our family vacation at the Sand Piper Beacon resort the second week of August. Kids loved the resort and fun for us too. If you expecting a 6* resort then this is not the place for you. If you like a nice room, pools, good food, and a beautiful beach then look no further. Great place for a budget minded family vacation.

Just got back from staying at Sandpiper Beacon. If you have kids, this is the place to be. So much for them to do. I had none with me on this trip, but could see everything that was there for kids. The rooms are dated with the exception of the TV, but very clean. The whole property was very clean and people that work there were everywhere and some of the most friendly people I have encountered at a beach hotel. Coconuts across is a must for breakfast.

Room Tip: not all rooms have a beach view, so be sure you request one

We really enjoyed our stay at Sandpiper Beacon! We enjoyed the resorts many activities and that it was in a wonderful location. planning another visit soon with our entire family! If you are taking children this is the ideal place!

Room Tip: make sure you try to get a beachside room. The hallways on the inside rooms are kind of cramped and did not have much of a view of anything from the balcony! But it was still a very pleasant stay!
