We stayed here for a week in unit 510, which we rented through VRBO. The pictures that we looked through were "accurate" lol but very misleading. We could barely get our luggage in because as soon as you open the door there are stairs and a wall, we finally managed to get the luggage off the cart and get them into the bedroom on the bottom floor. The room smelled old and musty like mold. We were going to stay at another condo because the other unit had a washer/dryer, when I mentioned this to the lady who we booked with she said this unit also had a washer/dryer in the room, there were no pictures or anything else stating this. She had been very pleasant since day one and since the people at the other rental were very tough to get in touch with we proceeded to book this unit. The dryer broke on us the second day we were there which was a Sunday, we called the maintenance number listed on the fridge but because we booked through the "owner" they couldn't come and fix it...so called "owner" who we booked through and found out this wasn't even her unit, she said she would contact the owner so he could get someone out to fix it....well when we checked out on Wednesday it still was not fixed, no one had even come to look at it. As a family traveling with three kids one can only imagine how bad we needed the washer/dryer!! Ok enough on that, the Carillion Beach area is absolutely wonderful as it is not in the "spring break" area where all the noise and commotion is, so you do get to enjoy a peaceful day at the beach!! The sand and water is absolutely gorgeous!! If you plan on visiting a lot of the "touristy" spots then you may want to book elsewhere as it is quite a drive to get to all the front beach locations like ripley's, wonder works, restaurants etc...

Stayed here during spring break. Very quiet and beautiful. So relaxing. Far away from the craziness farther east. Nice unit. Had a minor issue with a bathroom fan that was fixed immediately. Will stay here again. Unit was clean upon arrival and was very comfortable.

We've stayed here twice now and we loved it. Very quiet end of PCB. The snack bar at the pool is perfect. There is pleanty of seating and part of the pool is even covered so that if you need to get out of the sun you can. The views from the tower are incredible and the balconies are a great place for morning coffee. There are carts to load your stuff in or out. Parking is a little issue. VRBO is the best locator for this condo.

My family of fourt stayed here for a summer vacation. We rented our 2 bed 2 bath condo from VRBO. The condo was very nice. They are individually owned so be aware.
The condos are set apart from the hectic pace of PCB, behind Carillon Beach. Its a very quiet location. There is a park next door so there is little beach crowds. The only people on the beach are other condo residents/renters. The condos are very family friendly. There is the lake to fish, movie nights on a big screen at the pool and a snack bar if you get the munchies. There are two pools, one partially covered if you are trying to keep the kiddos out of the sun. We loved staying here and cant wait to return.

Firstly, I would like to say that I would rarely give five stars to any place... but Pinnacle Port does come close. We've been there three time. In 2013 we stayed in C3 101 and I was very, very happy with our stay. The condo is nicely furnished and has all the necessary amenities (except for potholders for hot oven items). The kids' room was perfect for our 10 year old son and twin 5 year old girls. The king bed in the master bedroom left something to be desired, but it was not unbearable. Overall, I would definitely recommend this condo. It has to be booked with Pinnacle Port itself, I believe.

We also stayed in C3 202 most recently in 2009 and I believe it was 2007. We liked it and I don't remember there being anything to really complain about. I remember the king bed being hard as a rock, but that could have changed by now.

Pinnacle Port is an awesome place to stay because of the fact that you are situated right next to a national park that can't be built upon. That means there's very little beach traffic and is pretty much only resort vacationers. It is behind Carillon Beach, to the west, so you must drive through a gated property to get there. That means less craziness during highly congested times like summer time (when all the young adults come out and go clubbing).

I believe we will always stay with PP and have already booked our 2014 vacation there, however we needed a three bedroom and found one in the most desired location of building C3 (the very last one on the beach). We can't wait to go back!

We stayed in the main tower A310 booked through VRBO. We had a 1 bedroom 2 bath. Upset that the master bathroom did not have a door on it and the main balcony over looked the river and not the beach. When we talked to the owner she was a little defensive about my comments. The owner did bring some hangers since there was only 2 in the closet, she states she was going to bring something to put on the bathroom door but never showed up. She did send a repair man to our room to fix something and we had friends over from my daughters ball team eating lunch and as soon as he left the owner was calling asking why so many people was in the room. The master bathroom had a bad smell. The building is family friendly but is dated. A few days we were there the elevators were broken. If you stay there I strongly recommend getting a different room.

Our family of five arrived and were very taken with the unit. The view is spectacular from the balcony being a top floor unit, nice not having to deal with any noise from above, just the sound of the waves crashing on the shore! The kitchen is very well stocked with everything needed to make breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. The huge tv was great to watch endless episodes of Pawn Stars!!
W/D worked perfectly. We would absolutely stay here again.
Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Room Tip: Get a top floor unit if you can, makes all the difference to cut out excess noise!
