This is a new(ish) quirky place just adjacent to the Bodacious Olive and the Bodacious Brew on Palafox.
They have lighter fare, and Beer and Wine. I have tried several different soups, salads and entrees - all have been very good. All made fresh on-premises in what seems like the world's smallest kitchen (apart from food trucks!)
There is bar seating and there are two inside and several outside tables. There are propane heaters if it's chilly out. The staff is friendly and service is prompt. The atmosphere is refreshingly quiet- not somber, but you can actually carry on a normal conversation in your group without hurting yourself.
A definite repeatable experience!

This is our second trip here and this time we brought friends with us after the double bridge run. Our first trip we stumbled upon it before catching a show at the Little Theater. The bartender helped us pick out some fabulous tapas style nibbles to eat quickly before our show. Wouldn't have mattered because everything comes out so quick! The food was amazing and the staff was very attentive. This second trip, same encounter. Their food is always so tasty and there's such a fantastic selection on the menu it's so hard to choose! The wine and beer selection is also very sizable. The four of us enjoyed everything we ate tremendously. I HIGHLY recommend you pop in.

If you want fresh ingredients and a classy feeling restaurant, try Carmen's. It's a little pricey for lunch, but the food is great!

A great lunch place. the vietnamese inspired carrot soup was delicious with a nice tanguy blend of spices, the indian soup was also very good and the crab sandwich yummy. For a pleasant bistrot experience it is more fun to sit at the wrap around counter

My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner here. Creative and tasty small plates with additional specials not on the menu. The patatas bravas were excellent. The BBQ pork slider, beef sliders, kale salad, crab stuffed mushrooms, and pistachio cheesecake were all really good. This is not a little kid kind of place ( no changing table in bathroom, no booster seats), however we ate outside with our 3yr old and infant and I felt like I could have a really nice dinner laid back and not worry my kid was a little too loud. Great value.
