“Yummy!”
Reviewed 14 June 2014

Love the Corner Store for healthy, quick lunch. The atmosphere is very nice, and the sandwiches are delicious. I have taken many friends and everyone has always enjoyed their meal! The cost, seems to me, is in keeping with other deli's serving specialty sandwiches. A definite GO TO spot. The only downside, IMHO, is that they are closed on Monday!

“Fresh and delicious”
Reviewed 16 March 2014

Nice little store front in "downtown" Plant City. Food was fresh and delicious. Try the Chicken Goat or the Italian Job. For those who say the sandwiches are skimpy, in my opinion, not so much. More than enough for lunch both times Ive been there.

“Good food”
Reviewed 21 January 2014 via mobile

Very nice atmosphere with fresh made sandwiches. Food was good! You do order & pay at a counter- no wait staff. Your drinks are self-serve too & they do charge .25 for water, which is ridiculous. And there aren't many tables to sit at. Lastly, expect to pay $9-10 a sandwich, which is very pricey for a quarter of an orange, chips, & sandwich.

“Skimpy sandwiches”
Reviewed 19 October 2013

A quaint little place, nice play area for our toddler however a $10 sandwich with only one piece of turkey on it, one piece of cheese - I left hungry and disappointed.

We were sorry to read that you left hungry. Most of our daily sandwiches have spinach, tomatoes, onions as well as additional condiments that make each one unique and are served with chips and fruit. We hope that you will give us another chance to satisfy your hunger.

“Delightful!!!!!”
Reviewed 22 September 2013

A friend and I stopped in Plant City for a few hours on our way to Orlando this past Friday. Maybe not where most people would decide to do shopping and have a bite, but, she'd wanted to find a tea shop (Camilla Rose) in the historic district. We did find it; unfortunately, they no longer operate their tea room. So, we wandered around the area a bit and found The Corner Store. As it turns out, this was likely a far better lunch than we would have had at a tea room (at least in my humble opinion!)

Yes, the place does have the feel of a general store but it seemed the majority of the merchandise/offerings were food and drink related. You order at a counter in the back of the store and can either pick it up there or sit down at one of the many tables and they'll bring it to you. The start a tab for you when you order so you can pay for your meal and any purchases from the store itself all at once (my friend picked up a shaving mug, brush and soap for her son; just the sort of thing you might expect to find in this sort of place!)

I had the turkey, avocado and bleu cheese wrap. My friend had The Gobbler; a sandwich with turkey, cheese, and what appeared to be quite a bit of cranberry sauce. She reported hers was wonderful and mine was also very good. Both were HUGE. The sandwiches/wraps are served with chips (you can opt for pita or potato; we each had pita and there was a goodly portion) and a small bit of fruit (oranges in our case).

Wine and beer are available as well as soft drinks and ice tea. Probably coffee, too, but I didn't notice. Ice water is 25 cents.

While we were waiting for our food, they offered us a small taste of white wine (which if we hadn't been driving we may have taken them up on their offer to buy a glass!)

Friendly staff. Great service. Wonderful food. Reasonably priced for what you get ($10 ).

If I'm ever back in Plant City, I'd definitely return!
