I haven't played golf here, but family members have, and they speak very highly of it. It's a popular and well rated public 36 hole course. I have eaten in the public restaurant that overlooks the course, and I can say that the course and the facilities are very attractive.
The restaurant is one of my favorites for lunch. I especially like the soup and bread bar which offers two soups that change daily and several wonderful bread loaves with mounds of regular and flavored butters. You can have as much soup and bread as you like for $4.75. Mmm!
Of course there is a full menu of tasty sandwiches and wraps, salads and burgers and desserts. A nice feature is the Deli Station which offers a variety of "stuffings", cheeses and toppings from which you can select one "stuffing", one cheese and up to three toppings on your choice of bread. Included in the $9.50 price is the soup bar. To wash it all down there is a full bar.
