“Florida's No*1 hidden attraction”

Fantasy Of Flight is better than excellent, it is superb! It is mindblowingly knock your socks off from the moment you enter & are greeted by Amelia Earhart, through into the immersive environments, where you get to go on-board a real B17, through into the hangars where you encounter the most astonishing collection of aircraft you are ever likely to see, and then there are the amazing tours into the wood shop, the restoration shop and delightful machine & engine shop (smells divine!). Not forgetting the tram ride to Golden Hills where the hidden treasures are & the Aeriel demonstration of the day (we saw the Storch flying). Go as early as you can to fit everything in. You can also go up in an old biplane, have a go on a huge fun zip wire, oh and to top it all off, get your lunch at the excellent Compass Rose Restaurant. Astonishing! We will definitely be returning here for another visit.

Worth the time and travel. Absolutely a fantastic collection of history. Fun for all ages. KERMIT IS TRULY A HERO. Saving and restoring and educating all of us about aircraft and the history of flight. Kermit and this incredible team are very passionate about their love of flight.

“Unbelievable diamond in the rough!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 January 2014

We haven driven past this attraction for years, always saying we should stop. Well today was that day. On the way home from another vacuous foray into an Orlando theme park, anxious to re enter reality and leave the six dollar bottled water, and worthless souvenirs behind....
Both kids were agonizing over the looming sentence of having to visit a museum!
Well, we all had the most pleasant surprise!
Staff was knowledgable and courteous, the facility was spotless, and the delays were great.
There really is fun for all ages, AND non aviation enthusiasts.
Our only regret was not planning for more time.
Can't wait to return!
Ps, it's privately owned and run, and not many of these ventures are profitable.
Either way I tip my hat to the founder, Mr. Kermit Weeks. What a wonderful way to preserve this history for us to enjoy.

“Something interesting to do away from the mouse”

We were looking for something to do near to Disney World that was a bit different. Had a wonderful time. The cafe was great and all the staff did a good job. Enjoyed meeting Rosie the riveter. Plenty of planes to keep the males in the family happy.

“EXCELLENT DISPLAY OF WORKING RESTORED VINTAGE AIRCRAFT”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 January 2014

Visited this place on a whim and was not disapointed. Although not knowledgeable on vintage aircraft I found the display and the workshop tour very interesting. You leave the museum with a message about how you can put your dreams into practice. The dedication and expertise of all of those involved in the restoration work is to be admired.
