What a truly delightful eating experience! It begins with a gracious welcome at the door, and continues when your server cheerfully approaches your table. A glance a the menu reveals a wide array of traditional dishes. As you are pondering your choices, someone arrives with a basket overflowing with warm garlic bread. Actually, the aroma precedes him by several seconds. Be careful! You can easily fill up -- one tempting bite at a time.

Make your choice. Order some wine. Glance around at the tables. Hear animated conversations interrupted only long enough for the diners to chew and swallow. The attentive service people are quick to refill your water and bread basket, or give whatever you need. Maybe something you didn't even ask for -- like the complimentary loaf of bread we received from a staffer who had personally baked it only hours earlier.

Ample portions of well-crafted dishes. Friendly, engaging staff. Pleasant surroundings. This is the kind of place you visit again and again, and where you send friends and family.

I have been going to Giannis for years now and have always loved it but last week a group of coworkers and I went in and ordered the fish (it was on special this day) and on one of the dishes there was a small cockroach!!! the Waitor was actually very nice about it he brough out a new plate (free of charge) but it really creeped me out. It was very sad because I love going to this restaurant (come here almost weekly) and now I'm not sure I want to come back again....

Have eaten at Gianni's for lunch and dinner. The lunch menu has most of the dinner items on special from $9.95 to $12.95. My favorites on their menu are chicken or veal Piccata or Francese, snapper and stuffed shells. The dinner menu is a little pricey, but worth it. Their rolls and salad are very garlicky but very tasty. The service and Italian-style ambience are excellent. There is a good selection of wines to top off your visit.

The red sauce was a strawberry color. The salad ... I cannot describe. The prices outrageous for what was served.

Don't believe the five stars..if you are looking for authentic Italian food, this is not the place for you.

I was treated to a company dinner at this restaurant. The meal excellent. We started with Stuffed Artichokes...the real deal...not just the hearts. They are 'to die for.' On artichoke can easily feed 6 people and hint: save some of the garlic bread (unbelievable) to dip into the sauce at the bottom of the artichoke bowl. I chose the salmon entree. It was so amazing. I ate half and save the rest for the next day. The service was 5-star with attentive waiters cleaning every crumb before it has a chance to hit the table (or your clothes), and yet they are unobtrusive. I am told the lunch price is around $12 for the same of everything. There is no ambiance - it's off a highway - but inside you feel like you are at a home in Naples, Italy.
