Description: "This is a tiny authentic Naples-style italian restaurant with no menu but amazing food. You are asked what you'd like: pasta, meat, or fish. Then they tell you what they have available that night. Reservations are highly recommended. This packs up even in non season. (They close in September to return to visit family in Naples, Italy). Everything you eat there is wonderful! Helped along by the wood oven, homemade pastas, and family loving care to each dish".

Marco the Chef is amazing and attentive to all that happens in his restaurant. There is no menu. There is a freshly selected array of appetizers, pasta dishes, meats, and desserts to choose from as well as pizza. The pillow type rolls are awesome as is everything he prepares. BYOB wine and they gladly serve to you in wine glasses and no corkage fee. We found the prices very good and you can order 1/2 portions on some dishes. Keep in mind all the things you get to try for the price and you will realize the fairness of prices. Reservations are a must regardless of day of the week or time of the year. The place is in a small strip mall and very unassuming. Make reservations and check this place out!!! You won't be disappointed!!!!!

The place has no menu, but the pledge is that everything they cook is fresh of the day. And its true. This a family run restaurant, they are from Napoli. I loved the heavy accents, and the food goes without question. When I walked to meet with a friend, they told me they have no menu, but that everything they cooked was gathered from the market daily and fresh, so they will make whatever was fresh at the store. The food was amazing, everything is from scratch. The bread came off the brick oven freshly made. I do not think I am a foodie, but it was such an experience that I had to share it with you.

We enjoyed cordial and attentive service at Cafe la Buca. There isn't a menu, so be prepared for sticker shock. The restaurant has the annoying policy of owning the water glass; no tap water is available.
No liquor license here, so BYOB of wine, no corkage fee. Unlike other reviewers, our wine was served to us in stemware.
We had excellent pappardelle pasta with porcini mushrooms and a touch of truffle...heaven on a plate and worth the full-portion $36. Other than that, I thought the food was average.
Café la Buca;s mystique takes advantage of patrons' anticipation and excitement of the great meal they are going to have. You overpaid for average food, so you convince yourself it was outstanding. At $100 for two people without drinks, I would say its probably not worth the visit.
