Very pleased with the accommodations at Beachcomber. The room was decorated nice and was comfortable and clean. AC in the room could have been a little better. The grounds were well manicured. We really like the tiki touches that were lite every night all around the property. The pools were open very late so people enjoy them well into the night. My only complaint would be the price of the food and beer. $5.30 for a can of beer is pretty high. But the tiki bar makes a great setting. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would go back.

A beautiful hotel, Oceanside Nice pools, good food enjoyed the waiter service on the beach. Nothing negative to say especially since the weather was beautiful and not cold and snowy like NY a great escape from a cold winter

Room Tip: Ask for one facing the ocean

My family and I stayed here twice in a months time, and it was perfect both times! We live in Florida and stay at both East and West beaches and the Keys all the time, The Beachcomber has been the best place we have stayed in Florida! Now it's not the Ritz, it's old Florida and shows it has seen some years, but it's family owned and the owners are on premises daily working along side their employees. The rooms are spacious, and tastefully decorated, the view from 90% of the rooms is amazing! (Some rooms are economy rooms with no view.)The beach and water is amazing, the water is gin clear and the sand easy on the feet. We stayed by the pool and beach for 7 days and had amazing service from Luis the pool and beach manager and Gloria a very friendly and helpful waitress! All the staff is just as helpful and friendly and will go out of their way to make your stay fun and relaxing! Also, the food that comes from the kitchen was amazing, like I said before it's not a fancy place, but if you're in no hurry and want great scenery and even better food try the beachside restaurant at least once. Don't go here if your looking for a cookie cutter big chain hotel, some things are weathered by the sea and sometimes parking is tight, but if you want to have a great and relaxing time at a true slice of paradise, then book your trip now!

The hotel is a little dated. However, aside from that, its located on a quiet stretch of beach. Convenient to major roads. The swimming pool was nice. The view from the ocean view room was spectacular. There is free parking and wi-fi which is unusual for any hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Steve at the tiki bar makes a great Bloody Mary. I would definitely go back if in the area.

Stayed here last year in room 707 and the AC vibrated so bad you couldn't sleep. The hotel desk said this is normal.???? This year we request a room two rooms down from 709. The AC in 708 vibrated the walls so bad we couldn't sleep. Again, this is normal. The desk clerk who resembled Pit Bull was really spacey and not much help. Great PR skills act dum. Next year back to the Hilton for a relaxing stay.

We have stayed at this hotel twice before and couldn't wait to go back. However, we were disappointed with the front desk personnel. We had requested a corner room in the tower but none were available upon check-in. We asked about switching rooms for several days and were told they couldn't tell us if a corner room would be available, even though the corner room next to us changed guests 3 times during our one week stay. We ordered in pasta one evening, the delivery people didn't include utensils so I called the front desk and she told me she couldn't get any. However my husband walked over to the bar and was able to get silverware. The bartenders were the only ones that had great attitudes and were very helpful on several occasions. We returned to our room one afternoon after it had been cleaned and the door wasn't even shut. It appeared that the door had been broke in the past and would not shut and lock automatically. The prices for the chairs and umbrellas were a decent price and the pool seems to have changed over to salt pool since there was no chlorine residue which is a nice feature. The outside eating was a nice feature and the food was good but the placement of the oversized tiki hut has taken away the view of the ocean from the pool. The rooms are spacious and the lounge chairs on the balcony are wonderful. I fell asleep on the balcony several nights listening to the ocean. The parking is free and we never had a problem finding adequate parking.

Great Hotel, nice clean rooms, nice balconies, good pool, small bar, restaurant (that we didnt try) right on the beach. One of the best places for its price for a place on the beach (includes parking and wifi). We had a great time, I definitely recommend it and will go back next time. Weekends are much more expensive. We even saw a giant turtle at night on the beach!

Room Tip: ocean view is great, pool view is also good
