“Fabulous Fish Camp in PVB”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

This an extremely popular among locals and out of town visitors both. Superlatives are in order with the single exception of the very high noise level. They have appeared to acknowledge this issue as there is now some acoustic tiles in a portion of the ceiling. Great wine list with options for glasses from bottles that otherwise don't have "glasses" portion prices even when the per glass price is not listed. I enjoyed a couple glasses of a Sancerre that is otherwise not listed for sale by the glass (a really nice touch).....Anyway, this is a lovely eating experience. BTW, parking is a bit of a hassle; so car pool if you are able!

“Ate here 3 times and should have every time”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

Such a fun place and the food was always good and consistantly so. I had a pan fried grouper special..excellent. Even an Oyster Poboy at lunch..excellent. Brook Trout with sauce..excellent. They had an interesting beet salad with pistachios and pickles..yes pickles..and it worked. I liked that too. Go casual..a happening place with good music and tons of people during Players Tournament..Make reservations if going then...every nite. You won't be sorry.

“Third visit”
Reviewed 3 June 2014

This was our third visit. The food was good as on our previous visits but unfortunately our server got my order wrong. Instead of correcting it, she insisted it was what I ordered. We were surprised by the way she handled the situation. That combined with the noisy atmosphere, we will not be in a hurry to return.

“Soooo delicious!”
Reviewed 3 June 2014 via mobile

Today, for lunch, I went in search of a local seafood eatery that was a step above a typical Southern fish camp. What I found was a perfect example of what happens when a restaurateur does everything right. There's a reason that this place is rated #1 in the area. The food was innovative, fresh and delicious (I enjoyed a spicy octopus salad, crawfish and gorgeous Gulf oysters). The selection of beers and wines is top notch and the friendly staff was genuinely interested in telling you all about them (I opted for a Killer Whale beer that was clean and crisp...perfect with my spicy dishes). Great location along a wooded and serene stretch of the Intercoastal...and well off the highway. The building and outdoor patio has all the charm of a Floridian cottage but with a "modern living" flare....add to that a cool selection of cool jazz and Moby-esque lounge music and you've got a winner! Coming back again for dinner!

“Great restaurant, but it is noisy!”
Reviewed 30 May 2014

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Ponte Vedra Beach. The meals are always very good, and prepared beautifully. We do visit this restaurant often and more times for brunch or lunch because dinners can be quite noisy. The staff is well trained and friendly. You can now also dine outside and so have a nice view of the intercostal waterway. Do try to arrive early as parking can be a problem. you can make reservation here, and this is also suggested because Ponte Vedra Fish Camp has limited seating. Overall if you want an excellent fish meal this is the restaurant for you!
