If you are looking for peace, beauty, superb breakfast (eggs Benedict!!!), comfort and wonderful people (George and Betty), you definitely are at the right place! Located only 2-3 minutes from the sugar powder beach of St-Joseph peninsula, Cape San Blas Inn offers romantic rooms, bicycles, canoes & kayaks. And if you are a seafood lover, have a meal at the local restaurant Indian Pass Raw Bar! Best crab legs, shrimps & oysters! George will tell you about it, the only thing you have to do is to enjoy!

Room Tip: Clean, comfortable, romantic, rustic

From check-in to breakfast til the day comes when it's time to check-out, I dare say you will not find a more warm and pleasant place to stay than the Cape San Blas Inn. Mr. George and Mrs. Betty are the perfect hosts and eager to make your stay the best ever. The breakfasts are simply amazing and very delicious along with the tea and coffee that are also served. Mr. George gives the option of serving you breakfast in your room, serving you outside on the deck or serving you along with the other guests at the dining room table. To each his own but it is such a pleasurable experience to meet the other guests at breakfast and share experiences and recommendations for things to do and places to eat lunch and dinner. I don't believe there is anyone in this world that would not be smiling after having spent just a few seconds conversing with Mr. George. My girlfriend and I highly recommend that you stay here and meet these wonderful people. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I stayed at the Cape San Blas Inn in July to celebrate our Anniversary. We really enjoyed the daily breakfasts (Eggs Benedict and Stuffed French Toast) prepared by the Innkeepers George and Betty. They were a perfect way to start our days activities.
George and Betty are just wonderful. They are there if you need them for something but never pushy in any way and really know the area well.
The rooms were wonderful and my wife commented that she hardly ever sleeps soundly away from home but on the beds at the Inn she slept very well. We took the Inn's two-man kayak into the bay and snorkeled and found a variety of welks, starfish and other shells in the grasses and sandy beds in the bay inlet. We took a trip with Seahorse Safari out of Port St. Joe, FL nearby to snorkel near the tip of the Cape on the bay side and had a wonderful time. We also spent a day on St. George's Island shelling and several evenings in Apalach (Apalachicola, FL) dining at the local restaurants, and trying the variety of preparations of the local oysters and seafood. It was a wonderful trip, we love the Cape and will be back.

Just a short review to say that we loved our stay here--came with sister and brother in law for 3 days/2 nights. George the innkeeper makes the place--friendly, intelligent, hospitable, and hilarious. Just watch out if you are from Michigan...(inside joke--you'll have to ask George) It is clean and the home cooked breakfast is out of sight. We found out about it through Living Social where we got a great discount on the rate. Slleep number beds in all the rooms!

Room Tip: All the rooms are nice and clean--more expensive ones are a little bigger and have large flat screen...

Spent a weekend here in March 2010 and came back again July 2011. George and Betty made for a wonderful stay both times (we only went back because of them). They are caring, friendly and all around great people. The food at breakfast was fantastic as was the atmosphere they created. The only downside to our trip this year was finding out that George and Betty are leaving :-( Teri and I wish them good luck in their new venture up in New Jersey.

Just returned yesterday from a long weekend at the San Blas Inn. What can I say? The rooms were charming and clean. George and Betty were the most gracious hosts I have encountered in my travels. The breakfasts were marvelous. I want to go back already.

The setting is one of the best beaches in the world, I have been from the Mediterranean to Hawaii. The In is wonderful in every respect. George and Betty make it feel you have "arrived home and they are so excited". The room, bed, and public areas were so inviting. The path to the pier overlooking the cove was like walking to serene beauty. The sunrise was indescribably beautiful. A walk across the street took you to the most beautiful pristine beach you have ever seen. The food was scumptious and the host and hostess are without equal. We will send lots of friends and be back to get a "Big George Hug". Thanks, Richard and Elaine

Room Tip: They are all great
