This was a great little bed and breakfast across the street from the beach and just a few miles from St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. We were there in September and the beautiful beaches were deserted. There are lots of beach houses but no cheesy shops or touristy junk.
The Inn itself was nicely decorated, comfortable, and the staff (basically one live-in person) was very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were great.
The only negative were the biting flies which were pretty bad in places but not as long as you stayed close to the water. The locals said this was a seasonal problem. I will definitely consider returning here, but maybe not in September.
