“Strange atmosphere, expensive, but yummy”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 May 2014 via mobile

I struggle to rate this restaurant because the food was delicious, but the atmosphere and service was, for a lack of a better word, strange. We had a party of 8 , including 2 small children, and our total was $170. Yikes.

The cajun shrimp and steamed oysters were great, but I think the table favorite was stuffed shrimp. They had a "walk up and get your own" drink area which was cool (and perfect for those drinking beer) Gumbo was also delicious.

The atmosphere was "strange" because we were sitting at a folding table in plastic walmart chairs, and the whole table orders using a "checkbox" tab instead of telling the waitress. Not a bad idea if you know what you want, but as a traveller it is a bit difficult.

I wouldn't mind going again now that I know what to expect.

“Hidden Gem”

This is a little out of the way and it looks like a dive, but we really enjoyed it! I had Cajun shrimp and others in my part had the oyster and others had the burgers. We all had great meals. I loved the serve yourself drink cooler. Great selection of beers, sodas, wine coolers and lots of other options. I will certainly go back!

The Raw Bar is a must visit. Excellent food and great staff. Great for families as well. A little off the beaten path but worth the drive.

“THE place to go on the Forgotten Coast!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 May 2014 via mobile

We've been going to Cape San Blas for nearly 5 years and the Indian Pass Raw Bar is our favorite go to when we're there. It is so much a part of the area that to go there is to truly experience that part of the coast. The food is awesome...the oysters, the shrimp, the gumbo, the corn on the cob and the bread is all sooooo good. The atmosphere is amazing...there's always music on the porch...the staff is the nicest around...to sit at the bar and watch Lorie and Torie run the ovens and steamers is entertainment enough! If you're ever within 50 miles of this place you need to visit...you'll be glad you did!
