This place was popular until it closed several years ago. We've been waiting for it to reopen to try it out. We were pleasantly surprised. This is more a balcony than a restaurant. Seating inside is pretty limited. Beverages are limited to beer and wine.
We stopped for lunch and were seated outside on the deck. The view is nice, looking over the water. The old marina is gone, replaced by condos. We were told we could use the condo pool (just off the deck) if we wanted.
We ordered Buccaneer Burgers and built our own. Bacon and blue cheese were added for $2.00. The burgers were excellent. Cooked perfectly. One of us had the pulled pork sandwich which she called excellent. Home made chips were good.
Overall, it was an enjoyable place to dine on a nice day. We'll be sure to return. Unfortunately, although it's a seafood restaurant, nothing was available. The server told me they're working on getting some local fishermen to supply them. Hopefully they'll have a better selection when we return.
