In my opinion, if you want to get the most bang for your buck, book Allison's loft. It is the largest room and is one of the least expensive rooms. You get a king sized bed and a jacuzzi. Plus, you are in the attic so you are the only room on that level and nobody is above you or on either side of you. You get a gorgeous window view of the intracoastal as well as another window view of the back of the house.

Review based on the Minorchin Room.
For the most part, I recommend this site, and it was a great experience. Skip to bottom for issues we had.
First off, great location. Off the bay, walking distance to basically everything in downtown St. Augustine (at most 6 blocks), very quiet, good service, and plenty of parking. We got a lot done and were very much satisfied upon finishing this trip. Breakfast, as stated in previous reviews, is provided daily and you select off a list of options what you would like. Rooms were clean, area is very peaceful, and staff is seemingly very nice.
As for my grips. 1st off it is St. Augustine, so you will be paying a hefty amount for something relatively ho-hum. The Minorchin room was well furnished, but nothing spectacular. Secondly, the room is designed in a way in which the air conditioner is in the bathroom. Very odd, but actually dangerous; as the cable connecting the A/C to the wall is exposed and can easily come in contact with water (my wife would have been electrocuted if i had not noticed the puddles inching towards the wire). Adding on that, it would appear this room is above the kitchen. With a window A/C, at 6/7 AM every morning, you begin to get overwhelmed by the smell of the food if you keep the A/C on. Should not be a problem in most other rooms.
Finally, we are a young, married couple. I did notice that we got attended to significantly less than older individuals during our stay. We weren't necessarily mistreated, but that extra attention other people got would have been nice, and I do think it has something to do with our age. At close to $200 per night , its an issue which I have to point out and shouldn't be an issue for a staff which tried to be nice in general but for some reason skipped out on their younger customers.

We enjoyed our stay. The facility is newly renovated, clean, well managed. The Innkeepers Joy and Andrew are personable, caring and enjoyable. The Breakfast were elegant and the evening wine and cheese "get togethers" were friendly.

We found this inn on the internet, and it turned out to be a real gem. The room was lovely, clean and nicely decorated, the bathroom very nice and the inn itself very handily located just a block or two from the centre of town.
Breakfast was a main plate with a number of options which we got to select the night before, and both days we ate outside on the veranda, looking out over the bay.
The proprietors were very friendly, and sat us down at the start to give us a quick overview of the city and the facilities available. Andrew clearly marked up a city map showing us where things were and I carried that map through the two-day stay. He also made two excellent suggestions for supper, so all in all it was a great stay.

My husband took me to St Augustine for my 40th Birthday. The room and people were absolutely wonderful. The room we had overlooked the back street. We could hear the horse's clopping down the street. It was so romantic.
