We love St. Augustine and now love the Southern Wind Inn! We felt like we were absolutely at home! The entire place had a wonderfully inviting feeling, as the owners are so knowledgeable of the city, offering suggestions on restaurants and spas. Delicious breakfast and homemade cookies were something we looked forward to each day of our trip and something we can't wait to have again on our return stay (hopefully sooner than later)! Our room was beautiful and cozy, and the house balcony and verandas--a great place to wind down after a day of touring. Overall, such a pleasant experience! We are sure to return and stay again at the Southern Wind Inn!

we stayed at this bed and breakfast for a week on our honeymoon and it was definately a good choice. we were promptly greeted by Scott and felt very welcome and at home. we slept in everyday so we didnt really get to experience the breakfast aspect of the B&B, but we definately participated in the afternoon wine and cookies served everyday and that was definately a nice little treat. it was very clean and quiet during our entire stay and is a very cozy place to relax and just hang out. everything in the city is close by and most attractions are within walking distance. we stayed in the veranda room and it was beautiful and the bed was very comfy. the veranda was private and we hung out up there frequently. we will definately stay here again. it was an awesome experience and definately recommended!

The innkeepers were very courteous which made us feel very comfortable. The room was very spacious and well kept. Unfortunately, we were not able to stay for breakfast but we did sample their great coffee, wine and delicious cookies. We also liked the fact that you can conviently park your car behind the inn and walk a short distance to the oldest city.

This was our first trip to St. Augustine and our first B&B experience.... we absolutely loved it and would recommend it to anyone. After a day of bike riding (courtesy of Southern Wind's amenities) we arrived back at the B&B, looked at each other and literally said "oh here we are back at home". My husband was a bit skeptical of staying at "someone else's house".... but it was such a lovely and romantic experience for us, he is already asking to try it again. My thanks to Scott and Donna!!!
