We stayed here in Penny’s Attic and had a wonderful time. I must say that if you stay in this room be ready for a serious hike up 3 flights of stairs to get to your room. Once you arrive there is a lovely deck and a charming room. I tried to find a way to smuggle the bed clothes out, but was unsuccessful hahaha :). The shampoo and soaps were very nice also. I am still charmed by the notes hidden in the room. It is such a breath of fresh air to see the loving missives left by previous guests.
The people that care for this property are wonderful. We felt cared about AND cared for. I simply can’t express how valued we were made to feel. We really felt as if we were long-awaited guests.
Breakfast was tasty and varied. The afternoon social was delightful with wine and snacks. I would describe the décor as superbly tacky lol. There were so many things to wonder about and admire.
I would love to stay here again! Frankly, I would not stay in the attic again because of the work involved in wrestling luggage up and down three flights of stairs. However, I look forward to staying in the other rooms. Honestly, there is such a profound difference between a corporate property and this bed and breakfast. I am truly thankful for the awesome treatment we received.More
