“Educational and Fun”

As we purchased an annual family pass just after our move to Florida, we have visited three times. First, we took our 9 year-old granddaughter. She absolutely loved seeing all the alligators, crocodiles, and other animals. Another day we went as a couple just to walk around. It was ideal because, even when it was sprinkling, a lot of the walkways were covered and we were not miserable. On our third visit, we took a mature visitor from California. She was mesmerized by the diversity of the creatures, especially the albino gators. We took in one of the shows and learned quite a bit. The displays are well labeled and contain a plethora of information. When the weather is cooler, we'd like to try the zip line. The gift shop is interesting. I wish there had been a better place on the premises for lunch. If you are planning more than a single visit and have children or grandchildren, the pass is a bargain. Definitely, this attraction is a Florida classic.

Did the zip line for my birthday! Loved It, awesome! Try it, you'll like it. You don't have to be athletic to be able to do it!

“Family Fun”

It was hot and humid when we went but we still had great fun. We had never seen so many types of alligators and crocodiles. The kids really enjoyed feeding the alligators in the rookery. I enjoyed seeing all the birds nesting and the babies. We did not spend a great deal of time here. Was it worth the price? Maybe, it is a little pricey but they do give a AAA discount.

“As expected but the feeding was fun.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 July 2014

Many differen kinds of alligators with plaques providing you with information about that specific kind. Large center area where at select times they have an alligator feeding with handlers in there with the reptiles. This kind of set it apart from other places I had been too where they are thrown food from safety at all times. Lots of walking area so you don't always have to move with the crowd. Only really bad part was a large area where they had small to medium sized alligators in what seemed like black water. You can pay to throw food balls for them too eat. Those gators seemed lethargic and just plain sick half the time not even able to bet the floating pellets in their mouth until 4 or 5 lazy attempts. Something seemed off about that.

“Neat experience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 July 2014

This place has 23 different species/subspecies of crocodillia on display. Everything from 2 albino alligators to the Indian crocodile. They have a live show where they feed the HUGE American alligators. Overall a great experience, would probably be great for kids.
