a fantastic tour. Machines were in A1 condition. Kevin, our guide was both knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The tour route and stops gave us a great insight into St Augustine, and the history behind this unique place. Only issue was we wanted it to go on forever, and our two hours seemed to fly by all too fast. Will definitely go again when I am back in FL.

Thanks for the excellent review! We are glad you had a great time gliding with Kev, and you are certainly right that time flies when you are on a Segway! Make sure you let us know you are a returning guest and we will discount your next glide. See you soon!

Kevin taught my 12 year old son (also a Kevin) and I (another Kevin) how to ride and off we went. Lots of fun just riding the segway but when combined with historic St. Augustine and the history lesson it made for a tremendously enjoyable couple of hours. Just do it- anyone can learn to ride one of these in five minutes. I'm 6'4" and lanky and the segway feels solid and stable underfoot.

As the oldest city in the U.S., St. Augustine has racked up a considerable amount of departed souls, many of which have reason to be bitter or just plain disappointed about the nature of their demise. Consequently, the place is loaded with ghosts and paranormal manifestations. To get a personal perspective on these specters we joined Lindsay Martin for a fun and informative ride on her way-cool Segway Ghost Tour. My wife Karen and I were the only ones that showed up Saturday night and Lindsay took us on an extended tour that not only showcased St. Augustine's beauty, but made it clear that Lindsay was knowledgeable and passionate about history and mysterious phenomena. We learned that written records of deaths in droves seemed to start with the Spanish massacring the French in 1565. English privateers showed up and sacked the city in 1586. British pirates took a turn at destroying the place in 1668. British forces burned the town again in 1702. Those pesky British came back in 1740, only to be run off. The last of the military bloodbaths came in the early 1800s from American interlopers during the Patriot Wars. In the meantime, mosquito borne yellow fever (black vomit), accidental fires, the Seminole Indians, lack of water and ferocious heat wiped out countless residents. There always seems to be a tragic story behind the ghosts that haunt, which is exactly why just about every place in St. Augustine has a spine-tingling tale behind it's resident apparitions. So, if you want to enjoy cruising around a beautiful city and learn about it's history and hauntings at the same time, tag along with Lindsay, or her husband, Kevin. It's a fantastic night out!

We took an evening ride that was awesome. Our guide knew where to go and what to see and had great stories along the way. We saw much more than our self guided tour earlier in the day. This was the highlight of our visit to St. Augustine.
