Very good located small hotel in the middle of the historic part of the town. It is lively during the day but very calm during the night. The room is perfectly decorated and there are some rocking chairs on the balcony. The service at the reception is perfect and charming.

We called and received the Internet rate and were upgraded to a Pinta Room on the second floor of one of their buildings around a courtyard. Entire staff was friendly and extremely helpful and cheerful. Not part of a chain and received personal service. Our room had little balconies both in front and in back, one with wooden rockers. Very quaint, cozy room...nice and clean, modern bathroom very clean also. View of Old Schoolhouse and it's grounds from back balcony. Right in the heart of historic district. Great!!

We were given a wonderful room with a view of the fort. Room was large as was the bathroom. Very convienent to resturants yet private . No noise from St Gearge street. Front desk person was lovely. Don't know what previous reviewer ment .We called for a reservation, reviewed what was available and it was exactly what we requested. Could not have been nicer. I sincerely recomment this as the best of Saint Augustine.

Me and my husband have been to St. Augustine four times and this was by far the best place to stay. The price was reasonable and the room was large and clean. It had a balcony overlooking the main walkway of St. George Street. It was on the 2nd floor so we also had a view of Fort Castillo, the old city gate and the old cemetery. Parking garage is across the street and paid for by the inn. The continental breakfast was extensive and the staff was friendly. We had a king room, but there are rooms with two doubles for families too. We will definitely choose the St. George Inn next time we visit St. Augustine.

We just got back from our stay at the St. George Inn. The staff is incredible. Our room overlooked the old city gates.Great for sitting on the balcony and watching the water and people. We loved the location. Our room was spacious and comfortable.

For our first vacation as a couple, we stayed for 4 days at the St. George Inn. We loved the location; it was right at the entrance to the Historic District, and our room, The St. George Room, had a window facing the Old Cemetery, and another window facing the Fort (Castillo De San Marcos). It was a very spacious room, with a love seat and two chairs, and a writing desk that fit into the nook in front of the window facing the Fort. I was able to settle in and enjoy the serenity by writing a poem inspired by what I saw from that window. The bed was large and very comfortable, and we were able to use the jetted tub! How romantic!

The breakfast in the mornings was not large, but served croissants, coffee, muffins and the best jams and fruit toppings! We ate our breakfast and drank our coffee in the beautiful courtyard each morning, which was surrounded by the Inn and the quaint shops nearby.

One of the best features of the hotel is that historic St. George Street was right outside of our doorstep. There is a wonderful chocolate/sweet shop downstairs where you can buy fudge and ice cream and other confections, and it makes the air smell wonderful! We strolled the district and perused the shops and never had to take a taxi or use our car.

We have recommended the St. George Inn to our friends and family, and would love to return again, as we often frequent the St. Augustine Historic area for romantic weekend getaways; however, the only real drawback is the 2 night minimum stay, which prohibits us from making the St. George Inn our home each time we return. We will be in the area for our 3 year anniversary next weekend, and would have loved to stay at the St. George again, but it is impossible due to this restriction.

We hope that they could make exceptions for additional business, but in the end, we highly recommend the St. George Inn to everyone. It is our favorite stay in the St. Augustine area to date.

The Inn is located in the heart of historic St. Augustine and within walking distance of most of the attractions in the area. The staff is very friendly, they took us to our room and explained everything. I can't remember having that service in ages. The rooms are very clean, comfy bed and pillows. The bathroom products were top notch. The macadamia nut bread was great that they served as part of the continental breakfast. They had coffee in the office and in the rooms. The breakfast had juice, tea, coffee, fruit and a huge assortment of breads. A big block of cheese and other toppings. Frig also in the rooms. We loved that it was so close to Ann O'Malleys, an Irish pub. The balconies were great for people watching and the rocking chairs were a nice touch. We had our computer with us and got connected right away. We will be back again.
