“We always eat at Harry's when we are in St. Augustine.”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

Whenever we stay in St. Augustine we eat at Harry's and are never disappointed. The food and the service were good as always this time. I am giving it only 4 stars this time because of where we were seated and because they changed the bread they serve. Don't sit in small area to the left of the hostess stand . We were seated in the last booth right next to the restrooms. The main restrooms are on the second floor but there is a small men's and lady's room in this area. As we were checking out the menus we realized there was a line forming right next to our table with people waiting to go to the restrooms. When we finally decided on what to order we asked to be moved. It is a strange set up. We were moved up a few tables which was a little better but I would rather not sit in that area the next time we dine there. Also, we always loved the bread they served with great garlic butter. This time it was definitely different & not as good. When we asked our server about it she said she just started and didn't know if it was different. Maybe they just ran out of bread and were serving this kind in a pinch but I hope they go back to the other bread they served. All in all our food was very good as was the service. We will definitely go back when we go to St. Augustine again.

“The BEST fried green tomatoes!”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

Love the fried green tomatoes over other restaurants because they are served with a slightly spicy sauce and feta cheese. Salads and steaks are delicious and the outdoor garden area is beautiful! ONLY drawback for me is that they do not offer a baked potato.

“Stopped in for the ghosts, was surprised with delicious food”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

The ghost and graveyards tour had told us a story about is place so we had to eat here. Even though we were one of the last tables in the staff treated us tremendously, and the food was amazing. Was very pleased that they had a gluten free menu, and their Bloody Mary was as good as the ones we drank in New Orleans! I had a salad with grilled shrimp that were cooked to perfection, with feta and dried cranberries and it was to die for. My grandma tried a plate with shrimp and scallop with a fried grit cake and a ham gravy and she nearly licked the plate. The price was very fair maybe even a little cheap for the amazing meal we had. Sadly we didn't see any ghosts but we did have a wonderful time.

“Great crabcakes and nice courtyard”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

This restaurant has a nice selection of seafood and New Orleans type food, they also have a kids menu. Beautiful courtyard, be sure to go after dark as the lighting is very nice. Just across the road from the great view of the bridge of lions and the bay. Will have to return and try their Jambalaya.....looked delicuious.

“Consistently Yummy”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

This is the second time we've been to St. Augustine and eaten at Harry's. Both times were excellent. We sat outside in the courtyard, which even on a hot day was not too bad thanks to all of the shade trees. We will definitely go back if we are in the area again.
