From the moment that we parked, the experience was awesome. Beautiful landscaping , gorgeous views. Genuine staff who went out of their way for us. They have the cutest complimentary happy hour with the best testing sangria! We ate breakfast outside over looking the water & we can't wait to come back next year! Incredible place , Stephanie's Hideaway room was stunning with the dual shower heads! Must go! The only regret is staying only one night! :)

We visit St Augustine every winter and always stay at the Bayfront Marin House Bed & Breakfast. We have recommended the Inn to many of our friends and family and they too have had a super experience! We're never disappointed, it's as if we're visiting an old friend's home! The suites are fabulous, the service is excellent, the staff is simply amazing! Our thanks to the Inn keepers Mike and Sandi for another perfect stay!!

Room Tip: The perfect location overlooking the bay makes it a very romantic getaway!!! Hot breakfast and an i...

Highly recommend this B&B. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast, and I can honestly say it exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect and picturesque. The staff was warm, friendly and eager to help make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Our room was nice and cozy and beautifully decorated (Smaller than it appeared to be in pictures, but really who stays in their room on vacation anyway?!). The highlight of our stay was the breakfast. Out of control is the only way to describe it!! We offered to take Mary home with us, but no dice!! We are already making plans to return, and Bayfront Marin House is our preferred and only choice!

We have a lot of people who try to "kidnap" Mary--but after 10 years with the Marin, she's not going anywhere!!! Seriously, thank you so much for mentioning her and the rest of the staff--we think we have the best team in town, and we're so lucky to get to work with them every day. We're glad that we've converted you to bed and breakfasts--we think they're a great home base for a fantastic vacation. We look forward to seeing you on your next visit!--Mike and Sandy and the Whole Bayfront Marin House Staff

We just spent a night here for my birthday and to meet with Brian to discuss renewing our vows. We loved the place so much that we booked to renew our vows in November.
Emery made us feel welcome from the minute we were on site!!! Brian was excellent in helping my husband and I get our thoughts together on what our needs are for our vow renewal.
We stayed in the King George room, which was beautiful.
Happy Hour had yummy treats with delicious sangria, as well as other choices to drink.
Breakfast was delicious and abundant....and the staff completely accommodated us when we were ready for breakfast much earlier than expected from our original selected time.
Can't wait to come back in March to try your beachside location!
Know we made the right decision for our vow renewal setting too!

We're so happy that you enjoyed yourselves, and that we'll see you again in March and November--we really do love getting to know our guests when they return for multiple trips! (And it will be so much fun to host your vow renewal!) Thank you also for mentioning Brian--he is a wonderful person, and he'll do a great job on your event. We'll see you in a few weeks--we'll save you a glass of sangria!--Mike and Sandy and the Whole Bayfront Marin House Staff

This bed and breakfast was very nice and the staff was very friendly. They offered a complementary happy hour which was also very nice, though slightly lacking. The breakfast was superb, very delicious. The room was nice too, although was much smaller than it had seemed in the picture. The tub was very nice though. The B&B had some bikes they would let us use to ride around the town with, this was a thoughtful service. The parking was a little iffy, pretty far from the actual room.

This well maintained property greeted us warmly. Our room was Burgess Cottage with it's own private entrance. It was cozy and well appointed. It is clear that the owners are detail oriented and take pride in their inn. There was complimentary wine, beer and sangria with hors d'oeuvres every day from 5-7. Breakfasts were very nice with lots of choice (including a hot entrée every day). Our room would be a good choice for early risers with morning sun and the aroma of coffee and cooking starting around 6:00 AM. Off-site parking (free) is a 5 minute walk. All of the major sights in the Historic District are in walking distance.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay, your room, and the free amenities that we offer (we are pretty particular about the details--our entire staff works hard to make sure that everything is wonderful for our guests, from our homemade sangria to the hot breakfast to all the details that make the rooms a great home away from home). We hope that you'll come back and see us again soon--we'll save you a spot at happy hour! --Mike and Sandy and the Whole Bayfront Marin House Staff

This was our 2nd time staying here and both times have been excellent experiences. We stayed in the Forrester Suite which has a beautiful bathroom and large enough to set up a pack and play for our toddler to sleep in. The owners and staff are very friendly and truly want to make sure everyone has a great experience when they stay here. We love that this is one of the few kid-friendly B&B's in St Aug also. We'll be back!
