With all the really good restaurants to try in St. Augustine, we probably wouldn't have eaten here in the Holiday Inn hotel restaurant except for the fact that it was convenient and we needed something before a long drive. The setting is very nice and they would have an excellent rating if this were a complementary breakfast. But it isn't. The breakfast buffet is self serve and has an exceptional amount of items. It costs about $13 per person which is not bad for an all you can eat meal, but for a couple of seniors that don't eat that much, this is no bargain. However, they do allow you to order off of the menu ala cart. We had coffee, a Denver Omelet, fried potatoes, and a biscuit which we split. It was more than enough for us and the food was good. Service was a bit slow as I think they are more used to people serving themselves. They apparently have an evening service too, but I am not sure about lunch.
