“Great scenery! ”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 July 2014 via mobile

The blackened grouper was great and cheesecake was fantastic. Their tasty Gumbo had plenty of seafood. The place is in need of a good cleaning. Highchair was gross. A wipe down from the stuff on the walls to the tabletops and they would have been excellent. Great atmosphere otherwise!

“Nice view of river and lots of local flavor, not so good seafood.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 June 2014

Nice view of the river and locals, often pierced and shirtless, but thats what it's like in Wakulla. Kids will enjoy the freedom to wander around without bothering anyone.

If you are going to order food stay away from the seafood and order a philly or cuban, trust me. Keep an eye on your meal as the birds will try to steal it.

There is a dock for boats to tie up and dine.

The drinks are good and they make a great Long Island ice tea.

“A no go for me”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 June 2014

We had our boat out for the day, and docked at the cafe, went in, seated ourself, and after about fifteen minutes, literally, a server came over and told us they were backed up for at least an hour and a half. Wow! The place isn't that big, it's outdoors, and screened indoors, concrete floors, kinda not very clean. We did not stay for the greasy food, it had to be, you could smell the grease in the air. They have bands that play on the weekend nights, you can here them getting started as you come in from the boat in the evenings, and hear it from the place across the street. I won't go back, no cafe has anything worth that kind of wait. Maybe it was just a bad day for them, I don't know, but it definitely went on my do not go list. I forgot to mention It is also a bar.

“Great location; skeptical food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 June 2014

This restaurant voids all sanitary & microbiology standards but the food comes out nice n' greasy, saucey and southern fried redneck styled. The music is usually good and the service is good. It is perectly situated on the St. Marks River & you can watch the river flow and the boats go by so recipes, cleanliness etc can take a back seat especially when music is around. If you want a good time andd do not care about what you are eating you will be fine here.

“On the River”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 June 2014 via mobile

We pretty much only go here because of the scenery. Its right on the river so you can go by boat (only place like that around) Service is ALWAYS slow slow slow & food that we've had has always been just ok
