This was our 2nd visit. Unfortunately, they were out of raw oysters....but fortunately we tried the blue crab fritters....OMG...they were so good we ordered a 2nd basket!!! The blackened fish sandwich lives up to the hype...It's great! Our server, Ashley, was delightful & you can't beat sitting on the river, listening to music, drinking a cold beer & eating awesome food! There's not a whole lot in St. Marks, but don't miss the Riverside Cafe!

The blackened grouper was great and cheesecake was fantastic. Their tasty Gumbo had plenty of seafood. The place is in need of a good cleaning. Highchair was gross. A wipe down from the stuff on the walls to the tabletops and they would have been excellent. Great atmosphere otherwise!

Nice view of the river and locals, often pierced and shirtless, but thats what it's like in Wakulla. Kids will enjoy the freedom to wander around without bothering anyone.

If you are going to order food stay away from the seafood and order a philly or cuban, trust me. Keep an eye on your meal as the birds will try to steal it.

There is a dock for boats to tie up and dine.

The drinks are good and they make a great Long Island ice tea.

We had our boat out for the day, and docked at the cafe, went in, seated ourself, and after about fifteen minutes, literally, a server came over and told us they were backed up for at least an hour and a half. Wow! The place isn't that big, it's outdoors, and screened indoors, concrete floors, kinda not very clean. We did not stay for the greasy food, it had to be, you could smell the grease in the air. They have bands that play on the weekend nights, you can here them getting started as you come in from the boat in the evenings, and hear it from the place across the street. I won't go back, no cafe has anything worth that kind of wait. Maybe it was just a bad day for them, I don't know, but it definitely went on my do not go list. I forgot to mention It is also a bar.
