“A fun time!”
Review of Polynesian Putter

Polynesian Putter
Reviewed 4 August 2011

The Polynesian Putter was clean, neat and a lot of fun! The tiki and the snake are very cool. This is a small, mom-and-pop type place. It shows its age a little, but was so much fun - easy walking from the beach and hotels.

A big thumbs up to this great place!

At $6 per adult this course should be much more than it is... The obstacles/decor are run down and falling apart. A lot of the holes feature bunnies, which doesn't really go with the hole Polynesian theme, and the "water features" are stagnant and great breeding holes for Mosquitos. Recommend spending your dollars elsewhere.

This place is alright if you just want to kill half an hour. It's only $5 a person which is nice...but the place itself is kind of blah. It could definitely use some fixing up...and maybe get rid of all the standing water, I was COVERED in mosquito bites by the end. We're planning on going back to St. Pete next year but I don't think we'll be playing any mini golf at Polynesian Putter.

Forget those big name putt putt golf courses. This is putt putt old school style.

There are no waterfalls, or shipwrecks, or giant giraffes. This is a simple putt putt golf place that costs 5 bucks to play. The holes aren't very challenging, but that means you will probably get a hole in one on a few. The greens are a little worn, and the giant snake has seen better days.

But the giant Tiki is fully intact, and you can be guaranteed there is no crowd. We like going to places like this because it is cheap (hard to find with two kids) and because there are usually no lines for the holes (good when you have a cranky two year old). Plus, there is no hurry to finish because somebody is waiting to play.

This place was a little out of the way for us (we were staying on Treasure Island) and we didn't try the other miniature golf (Smuggler's Cove I think), but this fit the bill. Not as good as Goofy Golf in Ft. Walton Beach, but good enough.
