We celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary here and could not have picked a better place! The inn is located right across from St. Pete beach and is within walking distance of several great restaurants and local shops! The innkeeper, Sheila, and her employee Dee were awesome! We stayed in the Plumeria and loved it! Perfect size for a couple on a getaway and has a nice covered outdoor sitting area. We spent many mornings and evenings out there enjoy the beautiful Florida weather! We definitely will be back!

We recently spent 3 nights here. We reserved the Spoonbill room and found it to be very nice and clean- not fancy, but fine for a beach vacation. The view from the balcony was good and the sitting area seems wider than it looks in the pictures on the web site. Also, the closet/dresser has been updated to a much better wooden unit than what is pictured in the virtual tour. Only negatives would be a very small bathroom and no table in the kitchen area. Unfortunately, there was much noise during our first afternoon there as they were renovating the room next to ours so we were not able to nap or talk quietly inside. After mentioning this to Sheila about 5:00, she assured us they were about done for the day and she would take care of us in the morning. She certainly did! Although she said most of the really noisy work was done, since we had a bad experience our first day, she upgraded us to the White Ibis - the honeymoon suite! What luxury! The decor and some of the furniture are updated since the pictures on the web site were taken. Lovely beach colors and white wicker furniture now - very calming and comfortable. We enjoyed the morning coffee and the continental breakfast on Sat. & Sun. mornings with mixed fresh fruit salad and a variety of breads and pastry. Of course, as others have said, the location is ideal and Pass-A-Grille is the best beach in the area. A great experience. Great customer service!

Stayed at the inn - for a second time - Ideal location, quiet and friendly. Will be back at PAG and the inn, later in the year.
So if you go back to a place - that has to be the best recommendation you can get.

Room Tip: Stayed in Spoonbill - quaint!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. We stayed in the one bedroom Hibiscus room. It was well worth the money we paid and was situated just across from the beach. The innkeeper Sheila was very friendly and we really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very cosy, clean and quiet. We will definitely be going back.

As long as you're not looking for luxury, Inn on the Beach can be a great place for a vacation. The place is clean and well-run: the owner is usually on the premises and I recognized staff from a previous stay, which is always a good sign. The rooms are well-maintained, and though not luxurious, quite comfortable - and affordably priced. The last room in which I stayed (this was my third visit) had an updated shower that was very, very nice. The pillows, pillow cases, sheets, and towels were a distinct step up from most hotels and motels. The Inn also is directly across the street from the beach, which is always good. During my stay, many of the guests appeared to have been there before, which is a good sign and demonstrates that I'm not alone in thinking this is the right place to be. You're offered a beach towel when you arrive and you can borrow beach chairs and umbrellas, although the umbrellas aren't in great shape. Pass-a-Grille isn't for everyone - it's very, very quiet and there's nowhere to go, nowhere to shop, and nowhere decent to eat - but if you have a car, the commercial part of St. Pete Beach is a whole three minutes away and you can find whatever you want there. I've been there before and I'd go there again, and that's exactly what I'm looking for when I vacation.

Room Tip: See the web site. It has photos of the rooms, and you can often choose. If you're willing to s...

Beautiful, quiet spot in Pass-A-Grille area of St Pete Beach. Right on the gulf and easy walk to many restaurants including Paradise Grill - directly on gulf with live music and spectacular sunsets. Clean cute rooms - some with balconies looking out on gulf. Will definitely be back! So glad we found it!

Room Tip: Spoonbill has a balcony on the gulf

Lovely property, well maintained, right across from a fabulous beach. Friendly, helpful staff. Located a short walk from the downtown area of Pass-a-Grille, it's a great place for a quiet, relaxed vacation. Will definitely come back for another stay.
