I forgot to drop off the review sheet so I wanted to say it for the whole Internet to see, this resort was wonderful! We experienced exceptional service from check in to check out. The staff was warm, welcoming, and professional. Our room was kept pristine by Allesa. She was very sweet and went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. We had our 2 year old with us and she had a great time, especially on the beach playground and in the pool! Thank you so much for making our vacation special!

The Sirata has it all. Located on beautiful St. Pete Beach, Sirata has 3 pools, hot tub, two outside bars with food service, on site restaurant , gift/notions shop, and beauty. Nice clean rooms with many options. Staff is friendly. Our third time staying there and we will be back again.
The setting also offers weddings on the beach, conference accommodations, and outside or inside receptions.

Room Tip: We like building 4, at least 4th floor. There is music at Harry's so if you are an early to bed...

This resort is very quiet and relaxing. The pools are wonderful and clean. The beach has free cabanas for guests. The beach is beautiful with white sand and clear water. Rum Runners has the best atmosphere and Kara was the best server we encountered our entire stay. Love sunny Florida!!!

I have been on the west coast a number of times in the past several years and have staying in Clearwater, Treasure Island and St Pete. I stayed at the Grand Plaza a couple years back and thought I would try the place next door Sirata. I think this is a very dynamic place. One thing is true; they sure know how to have a good time. The music and drinks were flowing and the hormones for both guys and gals were all over the board. At the same time there were a lot of kids around and they were happy to be in the pool and on the beach.

The location is great! The location is not too far from the best state park/beach in Florida (Ft De Soto). If you are looking to stay local, the beach is steps away and “private” for those staying at the property or adjacent properties. The onsite restaurants are a bit pricey but good if you really just want to be on property. There are however a few small chain restaurants. (IHOP, Waffle House) that you can walk to. The staff is very friendly and like I said, the resort supports all groups. The views are good and of course you can’t beat the beachfront appeal.

This is where the good stops for me. The rooms were clean but VERY dated. I truly feel in order to be serious about being called a “resort” they have to get rid of the 70’s quilts, old couches, old kitchen cabinets, old fixtures and painted-over popcorn ceilings. The bed could be better, the bathroom was small and way dated (with the sink outside in the hallway).

I paid a little under $200 for a night and expected to see a more updated property. The suite seemed roomy enough but if they knocked down a wall or two it would be very spacious. After that add new plumbing and furniture fixtures and rip out the mini kitchen and its all good! Maybe the other building (main building) has been updated because the conference center is located there. I can tell you building 4 needs a little love too!! Parking is a bit tight but I was able to find a spot even coming back to the property around midnight.

This is a good place if you are looking for beach, pool and fun without much time in the room. If you have kids, you may think about how much time you’ll be on property and the price you pay. There may be similar deals in more updated amenities elsewhere. For me I think I will try another location the next time I am on that side of Florida.

Room Tip: Ask for an updated room if possible,

We stumbled across Sirata on our way to Spinner's. We made our way to the restaurant/bar called Rum Runners. On the way we passed a neat cage full of prehistoric-looking iguanas. Rum Runner's is a great, open spot very close to the beach. The service was great. Jesse was out service and she has a great, friendly presence and provides attentive service. While there we enjoyed the chicken quesadilla (awesome) and rum runners. We will definately be back next year.

We went on a friend vacation to St Petersburg, We choose the Sirata based on the website and hoped for the best. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by my new favorite person Bernard the Bellman from Long Island NY. He was so accommodating as well and knowledgeable about all that the Resort and surrounding areas had to offer. We stayed for 7 days 4 of us from Syracuse and 2 friends who now live in Tampa and most of our time was spent at Harry's beach bar because of how extraordinary Jo Carol, Dom, and Zack were as people and as bartenders. They were the main reason we kept going back! They are incredible people. The live music was always a plus at Harrys! We also had alot of breakfasts at the Compass Grill and Mike our server was fantastic he made sure all our requests all at once were filled a group of 6 especially us isn't and easy task he sure made it look like a cake walk. I would also like to thank my Nicole who we kept calling our girl Nicole, Clyde from Hawii and Jacob cool sunglasses at the towel tent they were always on top of who we were and when more towels would be ready etc. They were also fantastic at letting us know what to do in the resort and surrounding areas. The cleaning lady Fiorella or something close to that from Albania was so sweet each and every day cleaning up after all of us we created alot off messes that is for sure. This resort was so incredible the pools and surrounding area were always clean, tourists and staff were always friendly and ready to carry on a conversation. They also have fireball on tap at Harrys after 7 days of Fireball shots I dont want to hear that name ever haha! The lava flow and kool colada are to die for at Harrys! They have alot of hammocks all over the resort, igunana outside of Compass grill in a enclosement so cool, The resort is walking distance of Dolphin plaza that has a liquor store, publix grocery store, shops, atm, and a barber. There is Normans Liquor store just across the street and the toasted monkey, Guy Harveys, PCI and alot of other places within beach or street walking distance. We are already planning our next trip here for early next year!

Room Tip: The studio rooms with two queen beds and the full kitchen is awesome we stayed in #3321 and it was i...

Stayed here back in 2005 and this resort has really updated this place since then! Our 1 bedroom ocean view suite was so contemporary/clean & loved it! This resort has even added a water slide for kids on the beach & has corn hole boards on the beach! How cool is that!!!!! Definitely will return in the near futureZ,!!
