Just come back from vacation in Florida, we stayed at Blind Pass Resort. Have only positive thoughts about this place! Really nice pool area, housekeepers are very attentive! And for very affordable price you get small, but very nice room with all you need, even kitchen stuff! Thank you, guys!

I decided to take my wife on an overnight date so we looked up St Pete Beach hotels. I lucked out and found this place thru reviews. We loved it! It has a great pool area complete with two gas grills and grill utensils. The pool is great with a little waterfall at the end of it. Our room was clean and had a great little kitchen that was stocked with everything you need. The owners were really nice and attentive to anything we needed. We originally planned on just staying one night but ended up staying one more. This will definitely be our getaway place from now on!

Room Tip: Room 22 has a great beach theme

We stayed here because of the reviews on TripAdvisor and the link to BookIt. Very happy with our choice! Bruce and Diane go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need! I love the way it is so close to everything: Treasure Island beach, park, breakfast place Beverlys, shopping, and St. Petersburg ~ Rays game, USF-St. Pete, and downtown. We enjoyed ourselves immensely due to a great part that Blind Pass Resort is just the place we needed!

Room Tip: The two queen bed efficiency more than meets a couples needs. The kitchen is equipped with stove, re...

I live in the Tampa Bay area and frequently stay at hotels with my husband for weekend getaways. I stayed at the Blind Pass Resort last year and was very disappointed. The management was not welcoming and was not very helpful. It seemed run down as well. Word got around that it was under new management and they were having a grand re-opening, so my husband and I decided to try it out once more. We just checked out today and I must say, what a difference! The new managers Diane and Bruce we're very knowledgable on the area and were more than accommodating throughout our stay. The resort looks like it has a fresh new look to it. It seems like it is well taken care of now. We will be back soon!

My 7 year old son and I visited in July . The service was exceptional from the reservation phase all the way through to the check out . I loved the owners attention to details and accommodating us at every turn . Bruce , Diana , and the rest of the staff we encountered were nothing but helpful , pleasant , and caring. We will be stating here every time we visit the Tampa/St. Pete area . Beautiful rooms , relaxing awesome pool , gas grills for chillin' and grillin' if you don't feel like eating out . I really Love the location too . Walking distance to Sunset Beach or the other beach , a grocery and anything else you need is walkable too. What a jewel of a place for mellow fun without the snobbishness of huge resorts . LOVED IT ALL ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Room Tip: Rooms around the pool are still super quiet and sweet .

We spent three days at the Blind Pass Resort and got so much more than we expected. First of all, the place is lovely to behold. The colors and architecture are charming and romantic. The gardens and exterior of the building are immaculately kept, inline with a much pricier hotel. There is a cascading tiered fountain in the gated courtyard entrance to the office. The pool courtyard is simply gorgeous and a fantastic place to sip a drink and watch the sunset. The pool has alcoves with underwater benches to sit and socialize. At the head of the pool is a stone waterfall where there is another bench to sit and let the water cascade down your back.

There is a variety of comfortable types of seating and a grill for guests to use.

Our room was located on the first floor of the pool courtyard. The room was lovely and well kept. The beds were soft and had nicely weighted comforters instead of the scratchy bedspreads prevalent at this price point.

There was a wall mounted flat screen TV and a quiet but strong remote controlled very modern AC unit. We were surprised to find our room had a kitchenette with two flat top burners, a small sink, a coffee pot, a toaster, a microwave, a mini fridge, a small but adequate assortment of dishes, and a little tray filled with good quality teas and coffee flavorings. Everything was in great condition.

This is the only one of 5 hotels we stayed at that provided us with adequate towels without us needs to request them. They were very generous with the linens. Our hand towels were nicely arranged into hanging pockets filled with washcloths folded into fan shapes. They are small details but the kind that make it obvious the hotel cares.

Our bathroom was immaculate. The fixtures, including a medicine cabinet, appeared new. There is a blow dryer.

Our room had two queen beds, a nightstand, a dresser, an armoire, an a kitchen table with two chairs, yet it never felt small or crowded and the overall feel was almost like a small suite.

The wireless was the fastest and most reliable we had the whole trip.

There is a room with a generously sized washer and dryer in good working order.

The staff were the warmest I ever met, all the way down to the housekeeping staff.

The overall feel was of a much more expensive hotel or resort. I will stay here again next time I am in the area.

Note: If you are here for the beach, skip the nearby one and drive south down Gulf Blvd to Pass-A-Grille in Lowe St. Pete Beach. The beaches are far superior. Parking at the beach is $1.50/hour and the machines take credit card.

The owners are on-site, friendly, and willing to accommodate specific needs. They are in the process of making many improvements and are constantly updating at the resort. Blind Pass has a nice pool, beautiful courtyard & landscaping, and laundry facilities. It is within walking distance of shops and restaurants, Gulf Blvd, and the beach. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The convenience of a more expensive hotel at a more reasonable price. :)

Room Tip: There are rooms that surround the pool and courtyard rooms on 2 levels. Some rooms have 2 bathrooms.
