The place is right on the water. The food was good, but most of the daily specials were not available. It will be nice to be informed about it before you get seated and trying to choose from the menu.If we knew that a lot of items were not available,we would probably go other restaurants. But the food we ordered was good, service was decent and place is reasonable priced with a spectacular view if the water and area around it.

Nothing fancy here, and that is just fine. The is the place to eat in Pass-a-Grille if you like dockside dining in a rustic setting on a bayou. The seafood chowder is creamy and consistently excellent. Chilled shrimp comes on a large platter that makes a meal in itself. The fish spread, Asian crab wrap, burger and veggie wrap are all good choices for a light meal, and the menu has an array of dinner choices. We like to eat on the deck and watch the dolphins go by and boats get tied up as people stop for a drink at the ample (and noisy bar) or eat in the indoor and outdoor dining areas. The hostess Angelica is welcoming and the staff pleasant. It can get busy here, and that may mean a wait. But you've got the life of the bayou to keep you entertained.

Service awful, food mediocre at best and we didn't really enjoy all the crud flying off the never cleaned ceiling fans.
Drive on 30 feet, spend a little more at Sea critters. We asked the little red head server to shut off the fan ... she never dealt with it so I grabbed a chair climbed on it and had to use a paper towel to pull the chain to shut down the fan. Not once did we get any comment from her about not doing it. Staff seems more interested in having a good time with each other rather than customer service. Congregating and yakking.

Enjoyed sitting in the bar area by the water. Great sports bar with a great view. The food is always excellent and of course very casual.
