“Almond crusted shrimp!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 May 2014 via mobile

Terry was our friendly server at this wonderful waterfront grill. We had margaritas and shared the conch fritters with spicy raspberry sauce. The piece de resistance however, was the fried shrimp rolled in their signature crunchy almond crust. The best!!!! I would return for 2 orders of the shrimp alone. Mmm, and the creamy Key Lime pie. Fabulous!

“The very best shrimp”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 April 2014

Didn't get off to a good start as when we arrived despite the fact there were 3 staff milling around no one greeted us Orr even acknowledged our presence. After 3-4 mins we were eventually asked where we wanted to sit and based on other review asked for outside, when asked how long the wait was, we were told that she didn't know, when we asked where we could wait we were told 'where you want' we asked if we could go though to the bar and as this seemed acceptable made our way through sat at the bar and were promptly serve a delicious bahama mama and glass of wine, there was a nice mix of locals as wells as visitors. After about 15 mins we were shown to a picnic type table outside with a pleasant view of the inlet. The almond crusted 'crunchy shrimp' were without surpass and I don't say that lightly I had the grouper served over salad which was very good! the key lime pie was good although I should have remembered to omit the ubiquitous squirt of canned whipped cream. The review score is mainly based on the shrimp, this place does what is says on the tin, nothing fancy, but good fresh food, service lacks a little would however return

“Great good and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 April 2014

We had been eating great food and celebrating my son's wedding for 4 days and just wanted something casual on our last night in town. We had a group of 8, and the food and service were outstanding. Our server, Marlee, was excellent, knew everything about every menu item we asked about, and got all the food for 8 people on the table at the same time! Can't wait to go back the next time we get out of the Midwest!

“Good (not cheap food), poor and expensive drinks”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 April 2014

Lovely waterside setting, food better than average (but pricey). BUT--have your cocktails elsewhere before you come. Our Bloody Marys, at 6 bucks apiece, had no pop. Even the mix was like watered-down tomato joice. And the ice was (how do you do this?) warm!

“Great outdoor seating, casual, super drink specials, great service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 April 2014

Whenever we visit the area, as often as we can, we stop in to get a bite and a few drinks, Ian is the BEST bartender. The place is literally so close to the water you are almost IN the water (outside anyway). My FAVORITE item is the 3 salads in 1 (chicken salad, crab salad and lobster salad) you get a taste of all and there is so much Lobster it's a bargain. We order it and split it between 2 people. Great to see locals as well as tourists enjoying the outside, it is casual and fun and very relaxing.
