Somehow they keep the prices down and the quality high. Nothing fancy, but comfortable and convenient, with two pools and a nice walkway to the beach. Free fridge for drinks and little teeny beach towels. Expect to pay $12 and up for a beach chair. I liked the very active and neighborly nightclub right at the beach entrance. So easy to walk over and listen to music and have a drink, then go back to your room and hear nothing. Kind of a working class clientele, not trying to look fabulous, not trying to raise a fuss. Excellent value, at least in the off season. I'd go back here.

Room Tip: Was halfway down and wasn't bothered by the music.

We have been to the St Pete's area many times. We loved the beachcomber very much. The set up of the hotel is awesome. The rooms are bright, very clean, and there is plenty of room.We will stay there again for sure. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: We loved our room on the first floor,We had one of the swimming pools right outside our door.We loved swimming in the pool every night.

My wife & I stayed for 4 nights. This was our third stay at Beachcomber and they have never disappointed. The rooms are always clean and staff is always friendly & helpful. Sunsets at Jimmy B's are awesome. Great location, we'll be back.

We stayed at the Beachcomber for five nights and had a really nice stay. The rooms are fairly basic and a bit dated, but perfectly adequate and very clean. The staff are excellent, can't do enough to help. The gardens and pool areas are beautifully kept. The Beach Bar is great, my only criticism is that the live music during the daytime it too loud. Overall the Beachcomber is an excellent beach resort and provides fantastic value for money. The atmosphere is very laid back, ideal for a relaxing stay. We wound not hesitate to stay at the Beachcomber again or to recommend it to friends.

Hotel scenery...beautiful. Room cleanliness....perfect. Staff were WONDERFUL! Jimmy's B's Beach Bar....awesome!! There is not one bad thing I can say about this place. We had the best time at the best place. And the staff were some of the friendliest, most helpful people I have ever met! Thank You All and we will definitely be back!! If anyone is going to St. Pete Beach, look no further. THIS is the place to stay.

Room Tip: Garden/Fountain view room was lovely!
