I visited this well known Italian spot after reading all the positive reviews. Living a few minutes from the new location, I was anxious to try it out. Overall, I really enjoyed the place. There was a great variety of dried pastas, sauces, and other Italian goods for sale. I ordered a sugared croissant, amazing, and an iced latte that was strong and delicious. I also picked up a lobster tail looking pastry filed with cream that was to die for!
My only complaint...it was a bit confusing. Do I order at the register, in front of the display cases, do I need to order coffee separately at the coffee bar? Many of the pizzas and pastries were not labeled and because of the aforementioned confusion, there really want any chance to ask. Service was satisfactory, but I wouldn't say friendly or above and beyond.
I would definitely go back to try a sandwich or slice of pizza.
