This was not our first visit to the Alden. We have been patrons of the Alden since the mid-eighties. However, this will absolutely be our last stay at the Alden. Our Gulf front Cayman suite was in dire need of rehabbing. The sofa was too soft, worn and shabby, refrigerator scarred and repainted, rippled discolored carpeting, lighting very poor, and a (1) cup coffee maker. The property, in general, needs an over haul, including the leaking, rusty public ice dispenser, on the fifth floor.
The Gulf view is beautiful, unfortunately the Alden is not.More
