We were in town for another event and had a few hours in between so decided to stop in for a visit. What a beautiful collection of Dali's works!! If you go, be sure to take tour with a docent. The art is amazing and the facility is a work of art in and of itself. They have an activity room for children with very cool crafts. Love that. There is a cool cafe and movie theatre. A very nice place for an unforgettable afternoon.

Only visit this Museum if your REALLY REALLY love Dali and REALLY REALLY want to see his stuff. For a start its $21 per person to get in. Disgracefully overpriced for ANY museum, and its not very big either at all. The staff dont even tell you that theres an Audio Guide included in the price and there not visible at the Reception where you pay in, so you only get to see them when your leaving the exhibition. Also if your carrying a backpack, the rude security staff tell you to wear it on your front or carry it in your hand. You cant wear it half or fully on your back. It took me asking twice to get a reason. The reason - In case you fall backwards and hit off a painting. Well if you fall back and hit off a painting, then regardless of whether im carrying a backpack or not im going to hit the painting. Not one mention of what happens if im wearing the backpack on my front and trip forwards. Needless to say the security staff didnt approach a large group of schoolkids who all had DALI backpacks on their back or many others who are carrying backpacks of various sizes. All i had in my backpack was a bottle of water. As for the exhibition, unless your a devoted Dali fan and if your just visiting for something to do, then stay away. Its a pile of rubbish. A classic example of any old crap being labelled as art. Its also full of visitor and museum staff all thinking they know better and up their own ARTS !!! Get yourself down to the Holocaust Museum, its one of the best exhibitions and youll also learn something about mankind.

Very enjoyable museum. Definitely get the earphones as the recorded explanations of the paintings add so much more to your viewing experience. The staff was terrific and Dali's works are amazing. The architecture of the museum itself is also quite beautiful

Get the headset if you don't do the guided tour! Even those in our group who didn't think they would like Dali were amazed at the detail in his paintings that you would never catch just looking at them!

Outstanding museum experience. You must take the free docent led tour to truly understand the character that was the artist Dali. Also recommend that you utilize the free audio devices to hear descriptions of all of the paintings displayed. Obviously, many of the negative reviewers did neither. Dali was a unique personality, and not everyone will appreciate his works. This is a very well-run museum with the majority of items displayed being original works. The history of the museum is also very interesting. The Dali is well worth a visit if you are willing to keep an open mind and avail yourself of the technological amenities that make the experience more fulfilling. My wife and I have visited several times and will return again.
