Staff was helpful and friendly, the rooms are spacious, bed is comfortable, its location allows you to discover downtown and the pier area by foot very easily. Given all of this, it is very reasonably priced, and surprised us with complementary cheese and wine at 5pm on our arrival. Two drawbacks: they don't have their own parking and the parking place next door to the hotel can't be use for long stay. Breakfast is very basic, coffee quality is poor.

The price was incredibly reasonable for starters.. but beyond that, a daily breakfast, wine and cheese platters, and close proximity to everything downtown? We had a wonderful time. E verythijng was neat and clean, and the service was wonderful. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Loved it very clean, great continental breakfast. Within walking distance of the museum's and the restaurants . Each room has it's own personality with everything you need. Fridge coffee maker and microwave. Very quiet
Beautiful front porch.

The Cordova is located in downtown St. Pete, easy walking distance to waterfront, restaurants, etc. I only stayed for one night but enjoyed the experience. The room was a good size but had no view to speak of. The bed was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small with original tub (I assume) and not very clean (floor, shower curtain). Breakfast the next morning was not impressive but offered the basics (coffee/tea, cold cereal, bread, bagels, small containers of fruit and yogurt). Overall it was average. Note: there is no elevator so if you have heavy bags or aren't strong enough, ask for room on first floor (still some steps but far fewer than rooms on floors 2 &3)

Room Tip: If you want a view, ask for a room in the front (facing street).

Staff very pleasant and accommodating. Be aware that there is no elevator as this is an old hotel (1921). It does have Wifi available. It is in the downtown area, so near to many restaurants or other venues of entertainment. Nice front porch/terrace where one can people watch. Few blocks from Coliseum (walking distance). If you need a parking place, talk to the hotel when making reservations. A little noisy from the street, but then was there on New Year's Eve.

Room Tip: Street rooms are probably more noisy then rear of hotel.
