Family came in from Montana. We had done Siesta Key prior, but were looking for a hotel resort with a playland for the little ones. The two pools were very clean and inviting. The playground looks a little better in the pictures, but was clean and free of broken glass and cigarette butts, which is sometimes the case when traveling to unknown areas.
The suite with the bunkbeds was perfect for my sister and her two little ones. My family had two adjoining rooms with sliding door that walked right out into the courtyard with easy access to the pools and play areas.
The private beach area was small and not one that I would personally recommend for swimming a the marina is very near, however it was great for the sand castle building, sea breeze and sunbathing.
Worst part of the resort was the service received (better stated---not received) at the Tiki Hut. We were not even acknowleged other than . . . "It's after 10, we don't offer food service after 10." That bartender lost out on some great sales and a hefty tip, but I really don't think she cared.
Overall, a great family resort with plenty to do to keep families. We will definately return and next time use the tennis and shuffleboard area!More
