“Good value for money”
Reviewed 22 April 2014 via mobile

It was my first visit to Cody's and must say was quite impressed by the service and food. The lunch I ordered was off the specials menu which came with a huge salad. The chicken breast smothered in cheese and mushrooms was very tasty. The chocolate cake was a very large slice and had to take it home. Of course it was happy hour too so drinks were 2 for the price of 1 on the whole a very good experience and will go back again.

“Good food & service”
Reviewed 20 April 2014

Saw the place in ours travels, asked the locals about it - They enjoy going there, highly recommended. Weekday night, busy (Happy hour) but we got seated right away. Ordered wings as an app, thought we would try the garlic wings, aromatic but not much flavor - Just OK. I ordered, prime rib, large cut, baked potato, had the baked potato soup instead of the salad: Soup was good, potato was tasty, beef was outstanding (Perfectly cooked, very nice portion/cut). The Mrs. had Chicken Quesadillas which was huge and very tasty. Saw the colossal onion rings - Next time we'll have some. The service was noteworthy: Staff is courteous, friendly and helpful if you have questions about the menu. This is a fun place, very casual environment: Peanuts on the table, non-food stock is placed in along some of the aisles, used as walls/dividers - Nicely done & unique!

IMO, Cody's is superior to those better known roadhouses.

“Good fun, good food”
Reviewed 18 April 2014

Ate here on vacation to Treasure Island area. Though it is a chain, we had never heard of it. If you are familiar with Texas Roadhouse, they are very similar. Started with soup. Wife had baked potato soup and I had beer cheese soup. Both pretty good. Meals come with choice of salad or soup, so that was a nice option. Rolls to die for. Wife had chicken friend chicken. Excellent. I had the ribs. They were some of the meatiest ribs I've ever had, but were dry. Flavor was good, but again, was dried out.
