Mazzaro's deli and coffee shop has added a new building in their parking lot that sells mostly imported culinary items and has a tea bar. Their selection of European table and decorating items is amazing. The building is decorated in their own classic style with an entrance way surrounded by a very large Romanesque face with open mouth to blend in with the statuary in the parking lot. Once inside you will be impressed by the selection of gadgets and utensils that beats anything else in this area. Don't forget to get a delicious sandwich at the coffer bar with an unbeatable cappuccino, and top it off with a delicious home made gelato. The bakery has a selection of delicious breads, cookies and pastries you will find yourself taking home. They also have a true meat market, cheese and wine shop, homemade pasta and hundreds of hard to find items. We visit at least weekly and always enjoy it.

My wife and I love to eat lunch at Mazzaro Coffee and Italian Market when we are in the area. Mazarro is a food market and deli, not a restaurant, and the atmosphere is noisy, and crowded much like the real thing in Italy. However, they offer some of the best sandwiches in the area to go or eat on their covered patio. Our favorite is the tuna wasabi sandwich made with rare tuna. This is an incredibly popular place so expect stand in line, especially on Fridays and Saturdays, and for the service to be slow. (Tip: Call ahead and allow about 20 minutes for a sandwich.) Once you get your order, grab a beer from the cooler, a bottle of wine, or coffee made from beans that they roast on the premises and then relax on the patio. There is usually live Italian music on Saturdays. And don't forget to leave room for their home made gelato for dessert. Our favorites are the spumoni and the lemon, but everything they make is excellent.

My girlfriend has been a big fan of Mazzaro's for many years. Besides the great Italian food there they pictures on the outside of the building are also really neat for some photo's.
