We went with friends with season tickets because we happened to be in town (same friends that took us last time) and it was just as fun. This park is easy to get to, to get in and out of and they do all kinds of fun/quirky things I didnt notice last time (or maybe its just new a year later) some of which they had to explain to us. Love the cats on screen and the 10 Ks for free pizza (this is more appealing to less than zealous baseball fans like myself) They remodeled an entire area that used to be a restaurant (where we dined last time) and its a nice open space full of concessions everyone can enjoy. Its enclosed and this time of year, n this heat & humidity, that is a HUGE plus. Great casual fun with friends

We had never been to a ball game before and decided to take in the Rays game versus Kansas City Royals.
We enjoyed all the razzmatazz and the pleasant, family focussed atmosphere.
While we expected the food and drink to be expensive $9 for a pint of beer is extortionate in my view. The nachos were fairly tasteless and the hot dogs were supposed to be a foot long but the cooking must have shrunk them!
The stadium is a superb facility and everywhere within was clean and tidy, all the staff were very pleasant and the game was enjoyable and pretty easy to follow for us. Just take your own food (stadium rules allow you to do this)

For you baseball elitists and purists you may not like the idea of indoor baseball. But if you live here you know that out of 9 months of MLB baseball only a couple weeks (early April & late Sept) during the season could you actually survive outdoors in 90 degree weather with 90% humidity. The dome is air conditioned and you won't have to worry about cancellations because of FL Gulf coast afternoon storms. The Tampa Bay area is the lightning capital of the world & if you are outdoors during one of these electricity storms you will be glad you are indoors. The inside is a bit drab but the Rays have done a good job of trying to make it as aesthetically pleasing as possible for an indoor stadium. The Rays do a great job of making the MLB experience about the more than just the game, which is what a lot of people like these days. We have lots to do in this area and the Rays have to compete with the beaches, theme parks & museums in this area so they try to make the game about the whole experience not just the game. Again, you baseball purists might not like it but that is what you get with MLB in paradise!

Every year I take a trip to Florida to watch the Rays and every year I always come back satisfied...While not the most attractive stadium out there the Rays have done a great job at making your visit to the Trop a fun one with plenty to do and see for all ages. I've always had great experiences with the stadium staff always pleasant and friendly and not really a bad seat in the house

We went to watch the Tampa Bay Rays play the Houston Astros. Since the stadium is enclosed, we got a break from the summer temperatures and had a great time. Prices are typical of any ball field, and the people working there were very polite and friendly. The turf looked like it could use some upkeep, and it was cooler on the second level on the first base line than it was on the first level behind left field. The pigeons were so much fun to watch as the field workers sprayed the baselines with water. We hope the Rays don't move to another stadium because we really look forward to attending more games there in the future.
