“Great and informative family time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 July 2014

We were staying over in Clearwater on the way to Naples and happened on this jewel of an attraction. The price of entry and tram ride are ridiculously cheap, under $20 for a family of 4 TOTAL! There are guided tram rides as well as walking paths. There are several (10ish) large birds (bald eagle, owls, etc) in the sanctuary for viewing. We spent just over 2 hours here and had a blast.

Our tour on a Saturday morning was led by a volunteer (sorry, I do not remember his name) who was VERY knowledgeable on all plant and animal species in the park. Our tram was a 7 seat electric UTV. We learned about native and invasive species of plants. We saw many bird, tortoise and butterfly species. We did not see any gators on our trip but the guide said over 75% usually do. Even with missing the gators I would recommend this attraction to everyone!

“A gem of a place but watch out for the Mosquitos”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 July 2014

A great morning - started with a golf buggy tour with one of the volunteers. Very knowledgable and helpful.
We saw baby aligators, turtles, tortoises and birds. Plus all the different butterflies.
The caged birds apparently are all there as they are damaged- but small area for them...
Gift shop, and centre really good and informative off the track from normal tourist stuff but we loved it...

“Can't beat for price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 July 2014

Ridiculously cheap. Every year when the family visits, we take the stroll down the pathways and walkways of Boyd Hill. The kids like seeing all the birds, the plants, frogs and alligators. It's a nice long time to spend on beautiful nature trails and boardwalks for so little.

Inside there are places for the kids to play, and the staff are always very kind and super accommodating.

It's a lovely little place to visit and spend a portion of your day at.

“Beautiful nature hike”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 June 2014

This is a great place to see aligators and a variety of birds. It is perfect for kids. Even if the weather is not great for going to the beach, this is a perfect alternative. They have an indoor place we took our granddaughter and she had a wonderful time. They also have a tram but you will need to call ahead to reserve as it is very popular

“Great place.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 May 2014

Wasn't given much options when it came to nature parks in the area but needed to go get some sun. This place was great. Lots of wildlife, fantastic dirt trails spanning a few miles it seemed. Sad that it was right by a somewhat busy road but the place was so big you didnt even hear the traffic. Would absolutely recommend.
