If you like challenging golf courses then this Rees Jones gives you all you can handle. You must think your way around this one on every shot, which adds to the enjoyment. This is a true "golfer's golf course".

“Challenging but worth it”
Reviewed 17 September 2012

Some really great views. Not too hard, but gave you a good test of abilities on some holes. Friendly staff made it a pleasure to play there.

“Golf Trip 2012”
Reviewed 26 June 2012

Private Country Club that you can only play if staying at Sandestin. The course is beautiful and layed out well. Differnt tees for differnt levels of play. I have given them an excellent score this year due to their people being much nicer to those of us who are not members, but do consistently play every golf trip.

“Test Your Skills on This Pristine Course”
Reviewed 20 May 2012

The best golf course we played in the Florida Panhandle. It is pristine and fantastically maintained course. As a private course you have to be staying at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort to play, plus there are restrictions on time of play. Definitely worth it. While Burnt Pine only has a few holes near the bay, it makes up with challenges of massive bunkers, water hazards, large mounds and even some rolling fairways. With many greens surrounded by large mounds, be prepared to do some walking. A golfer at any level will definitely enjoy a round at Burnt Pine. We enjoyed a delicious and expansive salad bar for lunch after golf that included two soups for only $8.95.
Hint: Play early (before 8:00 AM) the course isn't crowded and you can really enjoy your round.
