“A Hidden Gem in Siesta Key Village-Mount-N-Repair Silver Jewelry”
Reviewed 16 March 2014

Siesta Key is a wonderful place to stroll, eat or shop after or before watching the sun set on the beach. The village has many restaurants, bars and shops. There's also gelato, yogurt and a sub zero ice cream/yogurt place.

The shops are fun, with something for everyone. There's a bead shop, beach wear, a books in the bag store, a market, a drug store and a large beach/souvenir shop (impressive shells, floats, and shirts etc.

My favorite place in Siesta Key village is the Mount-N-Repair silver Jewelry Shop. It's off of Ocean blvd, in an alley near the gelato shop.

Mount-N-repair has an excellent selection of silver rings, bracelets and necklaces. Some of the most attractive jewelry is make by the owner. I bought a bracelet and necklace and some earrings. They are stunning and have been much admired.

Kathy, the owner's wife is very willing to share her knowledge of the area. She tried to help us find a rental for next year, suggested a groomer and vet for our two dogs. and, best of all, rewarded our dogs with dog biscuits and water, when we came to visit.

If you looking to indulge yourself or buy a gift, this is a wonderful shop with terrific owners. Suki

“Awesome place to visit”
Reviewed 10 March 2014

This is one of the most beautiful, fun and active spots in Florida.Very friendly great food and very reasonably priced. The Island is a bit like Key West ,with a bit wider streets and several different types of music at every Pub.The stroll down the Village is very Pleasant and you are approximately a block or two to a fantastic beach ,on the Gulf of Mexico.(White, White sand that stretches for miles. Very pretty. There are so many fantastic sea food restaurants here and great pubs, allot of small boutiques to visit ,very clean friendly village.

“Quaint Village”
Reviewed 2 March 2014

We visited the Village several times during our stay. It's small but not too small. Lots of restaurants and little shops to browse. It's a fun place to ride your bike through in the morning before there are too many walkers about.

“BEST BEACH”
Reviewed 18 February 2014

The wife and I spent a week in Siesta Key Village in August, 2013. What a great variety of shops, bars, restaurants and we were only a very short distance to the beach(700ft). Very nice rental properties all around. We ended up eating out every meal and spending hours at the beach. Was not that crowded in late August, which is what we liked. Loved the place so much we have already booked a rental for this coming August. After dealing with all this cold and snow this winter I wish it was next week.

“A Slice of the Caribbean!”
Reviewed 17 November 2013

Siesta Key and Siesta Key Village is a little slice of Caribbean Beauty! The atmosphere is laid back and relaxing all around the Town, the Beach, and Especially Siesta Village! All the shops, Restaurants, and watering holes are in an open air casual style. Some of my favorite places are the Beach Bazaar, Daiquiri Deck, Tropical Beach Resort, and my Favorite S.K.O.B (siesta key oyster bar). Siesta Key Beach is the Best Beach in U.S.A. and for good reasons. This week is the annual "Siesta Key Crystal Classic" Sand sculpture contest, Outstanding! I highly recommend coming and visiting, you will not be disappointed, Trust me, That's why I moved here!
