“The Ringling: The real thing...not a circus.”
Reviewed 2 May 2014

The Ringling mansion is one of the best wealthy people's residences I have visited...John had lots of money (before the depression) and knew what to do with it. The artifacts from the NYC rich and famous homes, i.e Vanderbilt, etc makes this residence a museum as well as a residence. The Art Museum is not to be missed...the collection of massive paintings is truly impressive and the sculpture court yard is breath taking. We allowed 4 hours...We needed 4 days...and we did even attempt the circus museum or the rose garden or the secret garden or the....

The museums and grounds are sure to please almost any visitor. Beautiful way to spend the day. There are several art museums included on the property as well as an historic home on the water with gardens and two circus museums and restaurants.

“Great museum for the children, and adults too!”
Reviewed 1 May 2014

My husband was not interested in circus memorabilia, however, he ended up enjoying this attraction as much as I did. The circus museum was great, with a lot of hands-on exhibits for kids. The mansion was elegant and just sitting on the veranda looking at the Gulf was a pleasure. The aroma of the roses in the rose garden was a treat to the nose. We did not do the art museum due to time restraints.

“Full day fun, history and art”
Reviewed 1 May 2014

This was a nice surprise even though it had been recommended, history of the circus and a live time of work in miniature ,the grounds and gardens, the tour of the house and the art gallery all add up to a full day out, there is places to eat as well. electric buggys to help you round the grounds too.
