“Great Experience with Good Food, Better Service”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

Quaint little Mexican restaurant in East Sarasota. Owner Al Grabo runs a very nice restaurant that provides real attentive service and freshly prepared food. Burritos claim to fame is fresh ingredients with no artificial or flavor enhancers. And they deliver. A nice, cheerfully decorated atmosphere that appeals to everyone. We saw couples, families (9 people at one sitting), workers on their lunch break, take-out. Everyone left satisfied with their experience. Many seemed to know Al by name as he greeted them, which shows lots of repeat business. Nothing pretentious or expensive at Burritos. Just a nice, welcoming spot to sit down and have a hot off the stove Mexican meal in an unassuming atmosphere. Hats off to Al and his staff. You can tell that he demands a lot from his staff when it comes to being attentive to their customers, which is something clearly missing in many restaurants today. Big thumbs up. Come hungry, leave happy!

“Sarasota Mexican food Ok”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

After quickly scanning reviews for burritos in Sarasota, we decided on Burritos Mexican Grill. Service was quick but we were unimpressed with the food. The burritos are big but kind of bland. You are offered a mild and hot salsa for your chips; this was nice. We are a family of 5 and for burritos and one shared combination meal, sodas, queso dip, guacamole, the bill was around $60.

“Good Fresh Mexican”
Reviewed 8 May 2014

Became aware of Burritos through a coupon in a travel brochure. It had some good reviews on Trip Advisor,so we decided to give it a try. We did not go wrong. The food is fresh, made from scratch "no MSG, no cans." It's just a small local restaurant in a strip shopping center, but the food is great, inexpensive, and plentiful. Service was attentive and friendly. I chose the chimicanga and my wife got their specialty burrito. Both came with refried beans and rice. Wasn't crowded and the atmosphere made for easy conversation.

“Authentic Mexican Food, well recommended, I will be back”
Reviewed 8 April 2014

Son brought me here because he’s addicted to the food. I’m a picky critic with Mexican because I live in San Diego. The hot sauce is perfect, chips were warm and crisp. I had a 3 layered tortilla special with chicken and beef covered with melted cheese and ranchero. The beef was not waxy, and the chicken was moist and seasoned just enough for my taste. The guacamole was equal if not better than those served back home. What I learned is my son knows authentic Mexican food, and I think I know where he learned.
