We went to this restaurant after reading a good review in the newspaper. Total disappointment - our waiter (Andrew) was inexperienced and behaved as if he was working at the Red Lobster not a pricey Italian restaurant (ordering a second soft drink "it's not free or unlimited you know", dropping silverware on our guest and ten minutes later asking "did I get any on you", not having a clue what a specialty of the house is "oh, dover sole, we were told to push the dover sole". We starting joking about the service to make the most of the situation, but then the food arrived. The Saltambuco was terrible - overcooked and tasted only of thyme. The veal parm was overcooked, hard and drowning in tomatoe sauce - there's more, but the piont is clear.
I gently complained to one of the managers on the way out - his response was "oh, that's too bad, come back and try us again. Terrible service and the food was such a disappointment and not cheap.
There is another restaurant around the corner called Mediterraneo - highly recommend this experience.
