“a fun time!”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

Le Barge was recommended by a friend who lives in Sarasota who takes all her visitors on one of these cruises. They have a Dolphin Watch Cruise, a Sunset Cruise (with live entertainment) and the one we opted for, Sightseeing/Nature Cruise. All cruises are 2 hours in length. Our cruise could have been called a dolphin watch as well, we saw a dozen! Lots of different tropical birds as well. Our guide was great and gave us a lot of info on the history of Sarasota, as well as identification of all the wildlife. Also saw lots of beautiful, big waterfront mansions. A full bar including frozen drinks. My husband said the margueritas were the best he'd had in Florida! Food and snacks available, nachos, hot dogs, burgers, etc. All at very reasonable prices. Sitting atop in the open -- with the live palm trees! -- was great fun. Great value for the $, and just lots of fun.

“The Tour Boat with Live Palm Trees on the Deck”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

I love this boat tour. It is a must do for anytime someone comes in from out of town. I have only done the daytime tour, but I love it. The boat goes around some of the islands and you get to see so many fabulous homes, The staff is friendly and drinks are a good value. I would highly recommend this for a great afternoon!.

“Great Cruise”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

We took the 11am two hour Manatee/Dolphin cruise with my family. The manatees were "out of season", but we saw several dolphins. The ship would hover in the area where the dolphins were and there was ample opportunity to view them and take photos. There is room on the boat for sun-lovers and shade-lovers. There is a bar and snack bar onboard. The only critique we had was that the narrator spent much of the cruise talking about the dolphins, etc. With such lovely weather and scenery, we would have enjoyed a bit more quite time just to take it all in. That being said, we would certainly recommend this cruise!

Boarding a barge attoped with live palm trees and a live band...gorging on tropical drinks and cheeseburgers was really a LOT of fun! This was a private party filled with good friends which made for a lot of good fun on a funky slice of paradise kinda boat!

“Once again a great night.”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

Booked to go on the extended sunset cruise, had a full band on board instead of a solo singer....Le barge was packed with people, the band great, drinks and cocktails a good price. Wife and I have done this many times over the years while on vacation here. A great night floating round Sarasota Bay, got invited to join a crowd of locals on a night out, we danced ,sang and had a great time...The sunset was awesome...Try it out yourself....
